I applaud Capcom's valiant efforts of porting these games to a mobile chipset, and even keeping in mind these are mobile games played on a portable system, I feel that we should demand more from AAA priced games on a phone.
Some takeaways:
- Game renders internally at 300p
- MetalFX has no chance of going up against FSR, XESS, DLSS or other popular upscalers
- 30fps with poor/incosistent framepacing
- Huge frame drops from time to time
When I heard the game has 200ms input lag with a bluetooth controller, I almost fell out of my seat.
The games I'm playing on PC right now with frame generation don't even have that kind of an input delay. Again, mobile chipset, I get it.
What do you think? Will you ever play games like these on a mobile phone? Do you already do so?
Do you think Mirage and Death Stranding will be the saviours of AAA games on iPhone devices?
