My top three is pretty consistent. Everything else isn't as permanent on the list lol.

Always have a difficult time with these kinds of threads because there’s just so many games that I could list as a “top ten” that I could have a somewhat different list depending on the day. Except for my number one game which will probably always be Chrono Trigger. Anyway here’s ten of some of my all time favourite games:

Hmm. At the moment i think it would be:

1. Deus Ex.
2. Baldurs Gate (Finished it there pretty recently and it holds up pretty well. The worst things is the devs love of traps and maps can to too long to get around. I must wrap up the expansion on get back into BG2).
3. Metroid Prime (Anyone who hasn't played this and has a switch: sort it out. Not your type of game? Don't care...sort it out").
4. FF7 (The remake was overall very good too. Looking forward to the next part).
5. Xenoblade Chronicles
6. Rome Total war. (This is where the total war series really clicked)
7. Mario Galaxy (The gaming industries ode to joy).
8. Monster hunter: Er....just in general.
9. Half Life 2
10. Freespace 2

lol which ones? The strategy ones (Starcraft, XCOM 2)? yeah those were during my PC days!

Mafia is masterpice. nope but its still too low in list.

Definitely remember you mentioning Starcraft and XCOM before. Catherine too, but didn't think you ranked it that high. Didn't know you were really into REmake1 and Bloodborne at all.

Figured SM64 would be high on the list. And figured OG FF7 rather than sequelmake.

Oh I love REmake since the day it came out. That game actually helped me get over my fear of Resident Evil games 😄 before that, used to always be too afraid to play.

Bloodborne is brilliant. Though my experience was hampered by a memory glitch at the time. I think it had something to do with if you put the PS4 in rest mode, then there was a memory leak and the bosses were very passive. not sure why it didn’t hit me until a friend sent a link to this article https://kotaku.com/bad-bloodborne-bug-makes-boss-battles-way-too-easy-1695696861 Nonetheless, I recognize it’s brilliance and look forward to the Remaster!!

Damn nice. Yeah REmake1 is probably my favorite survival horror game. Definitely in my top 3 RE games.

Bloodborne is sick, arguably my favorite From game. They can't leave that game trapped in its current state.

Oh, and about F7 Remake.. yea I think I do like it more than the original at this point. But I guess they could screw it up in parts 2 and 3 lol. But I loved Part 1.

Shit I wish. Not like I look into it often, but highly doubt any of the emulation is mature enough to run it stable.

Yeah played SH2, but it's been ages.

I'll try FF7R at some point. Just already know I won't be a fan of some things. The added busy work/padding. Also just bummed that they made it a weird sequel instead of you know... a remake. 😂

Can only imagine they'll deviate further in the following installments.

I want to say Ocarina of TIme, but it was a very good one time experience, but haven't played it much since.

1 is set.

2 and 3 are interchangeable.

4 onwards is in no particular order.

@HalcyonScarlet: thanks.. yea, when I think of top 10 games, I think of games that really left an impression on me all these years. I consider the overall package, not just fun factor. Catherine is one of those games that is unique, has an interesting idea, and the way they designed the gameplay elements and story from that idea is what I love most about it.

They come close to the top 10 (especially 2), but not quite. But yeah, Nier Automata is my favourite Platinum game. Astral Chain is up there too.

Yeah it's a masterpiece in my eyes. The attention to detail and level design is incredible.

Only 1 per series in my top 10. I just chose the one that gave me the best experience in a series. It does not mean its the best game in the series per se, just the one I enjoyed the most at the time
