Bring down defensive expert Reyna in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

Comments

Most characters in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes are aware of the main character's leadership qualities. However, there's someone who presents a tough challenge since you have to prove your worth in battle. There are certain restrictions, too. Here's our guide on how to recruit Reyna in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

How to recruit Reyna in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

You can recruit Reyna in the village of Dabavin. You visit this location as part of the story, well after the Hishahn arc and once you get past the Shandar Ridge. Once there, you'll see a knight clad in black armor waiting for you by the dock.

Reyna wants you to rock her to the core. Interacting with her leads to a mock battle, and you have to deal a total of roughly 1,500 damage. Oh, and you're limited to just three turns.

Preparing to battle Reyna: Ideal buffs and characters

Since there's a strict limit in how long the fight lasts, you need to ensure you have the right characters with you. We suggest bringing hard-hitting heroes and useful buffs. Examples include:

  • Physical damage: Nowa, Lian, Hakugin, Wayve, and Iugo.
  • Magic damage: Isha, Momo, and Marisa.
  • Support: Douglas - Make sure he pops up at the start of the battle so he can grant bonus attack strength.
  • Food buffs: Sauteed Chicken, Maqluba, Steak, and Hummus for physical attack boost. Spinach Quiche, Vegetable Juice, Blue Impact Curry, or Tom Yang Kung for magic attack boost.

How to defeat Reyna

To recruit Reyna in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you must ensure that not a single character turn is wasted. That means each turn needs to be spent attacking, using a skill, or casting a spell. You can also consider armor-reducing abilities to make her more susceptible to physical damage.

If you're doing this a bit later in the campaign (i.e. Town HQ/home base at level 3), then you might want to recruit Momo. Powerful spellcasters like Momo and Isha should be equipped with the Rune of Inferno. This allows them to cast Inferno Pillar, one of the most devastating single-target spells in the game.

Reyna's role in the game

Reyna is the queen of tanking. She can wear heavy armor and shields, and her defense stats are through the roof. Even better, her Cover Row and Counter defensive action helps protects her teammates. Her strength stat and speed are decent, too, which means she can receive a ton of punishment and dish it out in turn.
