Preorder Pikmin 1+2 Physical Edition
$50
The physical edition of the Pikmin 1+2 ports arrives on September 22 for Switch. These GameCube games now sport high-definition upgrades. You can preorder the physical edition now at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop.
The first Pikmin game, which was helmed by Shigeru Miyamoto, was released all the way back in 2001 and introduced players to the game's unique blend of platforming, real-time strategy, and the titular Pikmin. As Captain Olimar, it's up to you to use the Pikmin to help you off a strange Earth-like planet that you've crash-landed on, directing them to complete tasks and help you overcome various obstacles.
Pikmin 2 was released in 2004 and added new playable characters to the mix. This sequel also added the ability to control two different leaders of the Pikmin simultaneously, as well as new Pikmin types to help you in your journey.
For more Nintendo Switch preorders, you can check out details on other games that were revealed during the June Nintendo Direct, such as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG, WarioWare: Move It, and Detective Pikachu Returns.
