Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - A Pretty Stone And Five Golden Apples Pupunke Shrine Guide

We're headed to Korok Forest for this Shrine puzzle.

If you're traveling through the Korok Forest, you may find yourself with another Crystal on your hands, needing to get it to another Shrine--the Pupunke Shrine specifically. Like other Crystal-based Shrines, this one's puzzle is on the outside. Afterwards, the rest comes easily within the Shrine itself. Here's how to get its entrance opened.

How to solve the Pupunke Shrine puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The first step to getting to Pupunke Shrine is to make your way to Korok Forest, which takes a bit of work. Follow our guide to find out how to make your way there and cleanse the Deku Tree. Afterward, you'll be able to speak to the Koroks in the forest, and they offer some side activities.

When you're able to speak with the Koroks, seek out Damia up a winding pathway to the right of the Deku Tree. This little Korok will start a side activity called "A Pretty Stone and Five Golden Apples."

Now head forward into Mido Swamp. Your goal here is to follow the glowing pod lights to the end of the swamp where you'll find some Golden Apple trees, but the area is loaded with enemies. You can choose the fight them or run past them--though it's worth noting some of them will toss projectiles at you as you go by, so be prepared to dodge those. When you reach a point where you're surrounded by muck, you'll need to take to the treetops to make a path forward.

Eventually, you'll come out the other side of the swamp into a small clearing with two Golden Apple trees. Climb up and grab the Golden Apples (or use your Ultrahand to pick them off).

When you've got five Golden Apples, fast travel back to the shrine at the Deku Tree and return to Damia. Give them the apples in exchange for the green shrine crystal here, then pick up the crystal and walk it into the Miso Swamp's first area to place it at Pupunke Shrine.

Pupunke Shrine is a Rauru's Blessing shrine, so the reward is granted to you immediately upon entering. This is because the process of finding the shrine is considered a puzzle in and of itself--and you've solved it! Snag the Mighty Zonaite Sword from the chest inside and claim your Light of Blessing by completing the shrine.

We have many more guides in our Tears of the Kingdom guides hub, including a map of all Shrine locations and more individual Shrine puzzle guides.
