First of all, i would like to say this years Campus Legend Mode is fantastic. But in no way is this thread about how awesome i think it is. With its greatness, it has its flaws, which i would like to share them to you.

Campus Legend Mode: Calendar & Main Menu

I love what they've done with practice. They made so you have to actually practice to go up on the depth chart. Although it sounds great, it actually isnt. It is far too easy to go up the depth chart (although defense is much harder to move up the depth chart other than offense). I think the point system was a good start, but make it tougher for the hardcore gamer. Most people have gone to just practicing one day a week, which they should not have to do.

Evening Events makes the mode fell sorta like an RPG, which is a good thing. But there just arent too many scenarios. They need to come up with more scenarios so the mode doesnt get repetitive. I also would like to see more ways to bring down your GPA. All my Legends currently have a 4.0 and have yet to come down from it. This can also be solved by more scenarios. Also make the scenarios less obvious. It is way too easy to tell which one is right and which one is wrong.

An Example of an Evening Event: One of the evening events is a friend comes up to the door and has a football in his hands. He asks you if you want to play and your choices are keep studying or play football. If you choose play football i think attributes are added or your popularity goes up, but if you chose to keep studying your GPA goes up. My point is, nothing can be wrong in that scenario, it is a win/win scenario.

The Calander is great and i have no complaints (as of right now). The overall menu of Campus Legend Mode is great and easy to use and understand.

Campus Legend Mode: Offense

1) Positions outside of QB- When i am playing my campus legend mode with my RB/WR, i usually find myself in extremely close games. But i continue to lose them because of my QB's inablillty to realize the urgency of hiking the ball. My QB time and time again will let 10-15 seconds off the clock before he hikes the ball, making it even harder to come back then it already is.

My Solution- Allow all positions to be able to hike the ball whenever the player wants. This would be a controversial move by EA, but I think in the long run will benefit this mode greatly. However, you will not be able to fake hike. This will make the most crucial points of the game less frustrating because you will not lose because of time wasted instead of time used.

2) Quarterback decision making- I think the decision making of the QB is down right pathetic. My QB right now in my RB Legend has 5 touchdowns and 21 interceptions! WTF! The three games i lost were because he threw a total of 12 interceptions in those games. He does not have a bad overall as he is hin the mid-high 80's. My running back will be wide open at times, his vision cone will go over him, but then he will throw it into triple coverage. Just a few minutes ago, the O-coordinator called a WR screen. The QB didnt even throw it to the WR that was doing the screen. He instead threw it to the decoy TE running a flag route while being triple teamed.

On the last few seconds of the game, when my team has to run a hail mary, the QB hikes it and just throws it right away, instantly losing us the game. This isnt the only time this happens though. I mainly see this on double move routes (stop and go, post corner, in-and-up). Ive also seen this in dynasty mode so it isnt just CLM

My Solution- Upgrade the QB AI.

3) Motion and Pre-Play Motion While The QB- My main problem with this is just not being able to send someone in motion. I dont know how this didnt get into the game, but it is quite anoying. I also would like to be able to change the route of the pre-play motion instead of canceling the pre-play motion all together. This would make pre-play motion even much more exciting.

My Solution- Allow me to be able to do these things.

Campus Legend Mode: Defense

I dont have any real major complaints about this side of the ball. I think it is challenging but at the same time simple and easy to get used to. The angles can sometimes get in the way of what you are trying to do but that is what i expected. I havent gotten real deap into this side of the ball so if someone could give me their opinions on how it is that would be greatly appreciated.

Campus Legend Mode: Special Teams:

1) Camera Angles- When you are blocking for the punt returner, it is hard to see what you are doing at times. The camera angle also twitches when the ball carrier makes a quick turn causing your player to go the direction that you dont want to.

My Solution- On special teams , have the camera zoomed out a lil bit more, allowing me to see my player and react accordingly.

2) Return Game- Has anyone else been able to return a punt or kick-off? I have yet to even though my guy is number one on the depth chart for both KR and PR.

My Solution- Make the player able to return punts and kicks. Also, make the player have to earn their way to the top of the depth chart for KR and PR just like the player would have to for offense or defense. In practice mode, if the player wanted to try out for special teams, he should be able to pick a percentage of special teams plays, For example if the player wanted to do 20% special team plays, then the player would get 8 offense/defense plays and 2 special teams plays.

Hope you guys read this whole thing, and if you did thanks for reading.

I agree, I don't play the mode very often, but it's a nice relaxing change from the relative intensity of the dynasty mode.
