I know alot of us here are fantasy football (ffb) addicts. I started playing about six years ago myself. I couldn't get into it too much at first, but now, it's like a drug. I have been known to sign up for more leagues than I can handle during one season and I'm sure many of you are guilty of that, as well. I tell myself every season that I am going to limit it to two or three leagues, but that never happens.
Redrafts leagues were my thing until last January when I came upon an opening in a dynasty league. I took the spot and have loved it ever since. For those of you who love ffb but have never ventured into a dynasty league, what are you waiting for? Yes, there is a bigger time commitment and there is a lot more that goes into besides just drafting and filling out a roster, but it is worth it.
As a matter fact, I love the league so much that my best friend and I decided to start our own. We are having our draft on May 20th and I can't wait! Sometimes, I think I almost enjoy the draft itself more than the week-to-week work. This draft will be my biggest one ever, with 16 owners and 36 rounds, live on Mock Draft Central. It should be exciting.
I made a couple of critical mistakes last season, so I am looking for redemption this season. Does anyone have any good ffb stories? Bad trades, good trades, free agency moves that did or did not pan out, etc? How many of you guys jumped on Marques Colston right when he started to get hot? That was probably one of the, if not the, biggest pickup of last season. Who will be this season's hot mid-season pickup?
