A good running game is something the Broncos have and this year should be no different. The Broncos did lose a big weapon in WR Javon Walker, but they still do have Brandon Marshall. Champ Bailey leads the defense. You could also put Bailey in at Punt returns to give him the opportunity to make more plays. That is if EA actually had a kicking game that worked.

The only reason the Bears are even rated this high are their defense and Devin Hester. Their offense will be very weak. Their quarterbacks are terrible, and their WRs are average. But their TEs will be very good. Greg Olsen created matchup problems last season when he lined up at TE because of his speed. You could also motion him into the slot and he’d burn a LB. Hester will have the speed to get open, but who will throw him the ball? Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton aren’t very good but both have good arm strength. Rookie RB Matt Forte could be the starting runningback over Cedric Benson. Their defense should be back to form after a down year last year.

This team has lived by their defense for years. It’s a little long in the tooth at this point but should still be very good in Madden. Their offense is what usually kills this team and it will again this year. Willis McGahee is the best player on offense and will have a high rating. The question comes in at quarterback. Steve McNair has retired so it’s up to Kyle Boller or rookie Joe Flacco to pass the ball. At this point we don’t know who will be rated higher. TE Todd Heap is still a great target to have as well.

Their defense will definitely take a hit without Sean Taylor who was a complete monster in Madden. Their offense has good Madden players. Campbell has a strong arm and has the speedy Santana Moss to throw to. They also drafted Devin Thomas who has 4.4 speed. TE Chris Cooley is one of the better TEs in the game. And Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts compliment each other well

The Cards aren’t very good in real life, but this is Madden where having good weapons on offense can carry you. Kurt Warner is a solid player in Madden but what makes this offense go is its WRs. You have Boldin and Fitzgerald on either side, and they have a pretty good TE in Leonard Pope. Let’s not forget about Edge in the backfield running the ball. A very good offense for the Cards and they should be tough to stop

Ravens are a better madden team then the cardinals cmon..if you start troy smith who should be rated a 78ish with a 85 speed..its like vince young(close) and the ray rice complimenting McGahee and a great defense..i can see them being 20 in the real life power rankings..but in madden more of a 15

Ok. What is going on here is a biased look at all the teams. First of all, Cutler has one of the strongest arms in Madden. Why is this "Campbell has a strong arm", even mentioned? Cutler is not even mentioned in the Broncos article. The broncos having a good running game should not even be mentioned as Fred cannot decide whether he is typing a real power ranking or a madden ranking. Yeah the Broncos lost Walker, but Colbert and Jackson are solid pickups along with our depth at TE and HB make this one of the better offenses in madden. Its not one WR taht makes a good Madden team. Its a cast. I've been playing the game for years man....
