#10
| Jacksonville Jaguars-The Jags are a good team all the way around. They have a very good defense, running game and are solid at the quarterback position. Garrard took over last year as the full time starter and played well. His rating will be even higher this year. Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew in the backfield will be a solid duo. If there is a weak spot on this team it’s at the wide receiver position. It’s not terrible but could definitely be better. |

#9 | The defending Superbowl Champs will be rated high just by having won the Superbowl the previous season. They proved in the Superbowl how good and fast their defense is. They should be able to get pressure on the quarterback on a regular basis. Was last season’s playoffs Eli Manning’s coming out party? Or was it a fluke? Either way he’s sure to get a bump in the ratings. He’ll have the very tall Plaxico Burress to throw to. He’s always been a great weapon in Madden. And Jeremy Shockey is still on the team. He’s always one of the better rated TEs in the game. |

#8 | The Browns were a nice surprise last season. I don’t think anyone could have picked QB Derek Anderson to play that well. Most were waiting for Brady Quinn to take over. The Browns offense played very well. Anderson will be throwing the ball to emerging star Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow Jr. Both had over 1000 yards receiving last season. Jamal Lewis is an oldie but a goodie. He should get a bump back up in ratings based on his season last year. |

#7 | Whoa, the Raiders at no. 7? Remember this is Madden not the real NFL. And their players at key positions are great for Madden. JaMarcus Russell is a big mobile quarterback with a very strong arm. He will be throwing to Javon Walker, who’s always been a great weapon in Madden because of his height and jumping ability. And if that’s not enough they added the best runningback in the draft in Darren McFadden. This team has a ton of speed on offense at key positions. This will make them a very dangerous team. Unfortunately for Raiders fans, Madden doesn’t translate to real life. |

#6 | It probably wasn’t the type of season they expected last year in the real NFL season, but they were still a good football team in Madden. This year will be no different. The Saints feature one of the best Madden offenses in the game. Reggie Bush should be overrated again, which will make him one of the best players in Madden. The Saints also upgraded their defense in the offseason. This should be a very fun team to use. |

#5 | The Steelers offense just got even better after the draft. There were already good players at the runningback (Willie Parker) and wide receiver (Holmes, and Ward) positions but they added RB Rashard Mendenhall and WR Limas Sweed. Big Ben will have quite a few weapons at his disposal. Add in TE Heath Miller and you have a very good offense. |

#4 | If you haven’t learned by now offense is very important in Madden. The Colts have great WRs in Harrison and Wayne. And of course they have future HOFer Peyton Manning. That should be enough, but they have more! TE Dallas Clark and RB Joseph Addai make this one of the best offenses in the game. Bob Sanders and Dwight Freeney will add speed to the defense and make them a good team in Madden. |

#3 | I’m always tempted to put any team with Moss no. 1 because of how effective he is in Madden. But I think the two teams ahead of them are just better all around in the game. Remember Madden doesn’t take into account chemistry, coaching etc…I think if the Pats defense was better they’d move up. With Brady and Moss though, they are definitely in the top 3. |

#2 | The Tony Romo love fest won’t stop so he should be rated very high. He also has T.O to throw to and a very good TE in Jason Witten. The Cowboys might have actually upgraded their runningbacks by letting Julius Jones go and drafting Felix Jones. A combination of Barber and Jones should be deadly. You can also use Jones on kick returns. Their defense will be good and they’ve also added the controversial Pacman Jones who is very fast and can help on special teams as well. Cowboy fans will be very happy with this team. |
#1 | This is the best team overall by positions. L..T. is the best runningback in the game, and Gates is the best TE in the game. Having Antonio Gates on the roster helps because he’s very tall. Tall receivers who can jump are lethal in Madden. The defense won’t lose anybody and was already great. They are also a very hard team to run the ball on. Merriman and Phillips can get pressure on the QB. |

That's what happens when you have people who don't know ISH about football reviewing teams on a football game. Cleveland rated going before JAX is a joke. Yeah the Browns have a good offense but they still have to play defense!
Clueless list. Jets have Clemens 92 thp 66 Spd at qb. who would use chad? Coles 97 spd 92 catch Cotchery 92 catch. New OLINE. Solid Corners. STATS INC. (who does the ratings) says the JETS were the top defense in pts allowed 14.7 over the last 6 weeks. add our FA and our ROOKIES, easily a TOP 12 fun team for Madden. You letting real life affect your grade. I never face Half those teams online. So your list is flawed. Go Jets.
Oakland is a top 5 madden team. Def better than Pitt & NO. What a joke this list is and the Chambers comment proves it.

The Chambers comment was way off base, but otherwise I would have all of the top five teams they rated in the top 5. The bottom half I have some issues with picks 6-10 though. The Saints should be no higher than a 9 and the Browns an 11 or 12 with the Eagles moving into the top ten.

I edited the name for you guys. there lol.
This list is a joke how r the rams ranked so low lets not forget this not real football this a video game people they have a rock solid offense led by da big 3 action jackson big game holt and one of da best QBs on da game mark bulger . Da D is also solid with speed at all position, and it will only get better with chris long so please tell me how my dawgs r rank #26 on this fake list
Rams are cuz there D is soft there corners have speed but they aint that good, there also small. OAK is good where they are, knowing in madden you have to have a accurate qb and russell is not that and is awr is really low.Who will block for mcfadden?
Saints will be good where they are, they have a good rookie corner is porter with speed and probably a top 5 dline who will cause problems and stop the run. They also have vilma now.
Shows how much you know...Oakland was 6th in rushing last year without Mcfadden. Those same hogs will be blocking fool.
Ok lets be real any true madden head knows that when u get pressure with your front 7 your corners shine so hints the fact that my dawgs with the addition of chris long will be a force in 09 ps 2 da cat that said my corners r not good u most no have any user skillz

Cleveland should not be this high, their defense is mediocre at best, and if they cant stop the other team from scoring they're not going to win games.
6th aint good enough for a team that can't pass.
Chargers,Cowboys,Patriots and Colts all should be number 1. Theres too little difference between them. The only difference is that the Cowboys are the only NFC team and they're gonna own everyone until the superbowl Bwahahahaha
Dallas should be #1 cause of defense to they got ware, newman, thomas, williams, hamlin and more
Dallas should be #1 cause of defense to they got ware, newman, thomas, williams, hamlin and more
As a Browns fan, I can understand the temptation to rate them high because of their weapons on offense, but they have no D at all. I don't understand the sudden obsession with the Raiders. Sure McFadden will be overrated in Madden, as will Russell, but a top ten team? this really makes me question the list.

Come on the Giants should be top 5 cause that Super Bowl WAS the biggest upset.
The chargers are getting some serious love on madden and I'm loving that were excelling in the ratings and everything else
I think the St. Louis Rams should at least be 7 or 6
Like i said before over n over..da chargers n cowboys are paper chumps..it's not da team who makes da player..it da player who make team win in madden.believe dat.haha
Ya this is wack titins should be in there do people not know whos on thier . browns should not be in there
Ramsvsdaworld your the joke madden wise the 49ers defense is 10x beter than the rams, we got justin smith and top prospect kentwan balmer on the DL, patrick willis in the midfield ready to chase down torry holt, and nate clements and walt harris in the back field, who can eaisily break up any pass of mark bulgers, assuming he can last that long with our line and his injuries breathing down his neck, your offence is beter though but steven jackson is a big target, who was injured for a few weeks last year, while frank gore has stayed realatively injury free should have another 1500+ yrd after scrimage year, and yeah ya have torry holt but his speed has been dropping with age even though the 9er two starting wr have spd ratings under 90 our TE vernon davis is very fast, can jump very high, can catch well, and break takles. and our QB as inept as he is at completeting a pass, can still run away from your shitty line. so fuck off
Okay, if you notice the Chargers info, it says they have tall receivers. It doesn't say Chris Chambers is tall. The Chargers have 3 WR's at 6'5" and two others at 6' or more, so yeah, they do have tall receivers. Seriously guys... Let's think a little.
Cowboys #2 sweet
