I'll be the first to admit that Moose doesn't deserve a hands rating. He made Rex look worse with all his drops.

Dwayne Jarrett shouldn't be a weapon for anything or anybody until he proves himself. Last year he did nothing. This isn't college anymore. Get it right EA.

Is it jus me or does the cowboys player ratings seem kinda suspect, terry glen and patrick crayton both get 90 + catch ratings, terry glen hasnt played even a half season in two yrs and crayton doesn't exactly blow anybody away with his numbers... it seems as tho if ur a cowboy den u automatically get great ratings

Im sorry..the spec ratings are okay..but how could d willimas from da ravens have SPEC. and reggie wayne and T.O. dont have one???...giants n browns..ravens..and lions two players having spec..good teams for madden 09 to use

Patrick Crayton has the best hands on the Cowboys. Just because you are great at catching doesnt make you a superstar. Hes the Cowboys 4th option at best, if Glenn is playing. Terry can still catch also, were not talking about his injury rating, but whether or not he can catch.

Yes Demetrius Williams...Ma boy!!! got a spec Catch weapon..finally. he makes some ridiculous grabs..and how does derek mason not have a possesion receiver weapon!!! wtf? Man its gonna be a long year for me on offence..but i'm gonna make it work definatly...start Demitrius williams, and Mark Clayton, and put Derek mason in the slot...and Quick pass to Williams all day. cause he's big. and frankly..it wont be even fair.

Why do the ratings say that hines ward is a route runner, hands, and possession. but this says he is only possesion.

Don't be surprised if you don't agree with EA's player ratings. The Develpoment team knows programing, not football.

Jeremy is no longer with the giants. Secondly, amani toomer should have spectacular catch and definetly have possession receiver and hands.And steve smith from the giants should have possesion reciever and quick reciever

Ea never gets ratings right. brandon lloyd should not have any ratings at all. why u think that bum is not with the redskins anymore. also no love for my man lee evans. i know are quarterback situtation was wack but that has nothing to do with his ablities. besides are quarterback trent edwards will be a beast this year. best rookie quarterback to come around in a long time

In my opinion this rating system "isnt worth an oil painting of a dolphin and a whale getting it on".When Wes Welker was a MIAMI DOLPHIN he was are best WR he made big plays over and over on 3rd down. He had more catches then chambers and booker. He was like a 79 overall in madden that year. The next year he gets traded to the Pats and becomes a quick route runner weapon and a hands weapon c'mon that is BS. What did he learn how to run routes and catch a football on the plane ride to New England,WTF!!!! No Love for my fins man.

Spectacular catching is wack. I think it is the only thing wrong with this game. It lets bums who cant move the chains playing real football beat teams like my fins. I play with fins every game online since I can remember. I dont care what team anyone else uses either but I will consistently stop people without glitches to 3rd and long and all they have to do is dropback in the pocket wait a couple of seconds and throw high to some WR who can literally jump to the clouds and catch the ball. Now what im I suppose to do with that. I dont have any shutdown corners of big hit safteys. They should really change this pleease.
