Community writer poutlipper has come up with a formula to figure out the ultimate power rankings for the NFL. What do you think of the rankings? Share your opinion with us in our forums.

Week 11 Power Rankings

After a great Week 10 in the NFL, there have been quite a few changes in my power rankings. Mid-November is the time when we begin to see the playoff picture take shape, and these power rankings should offer some insight as to which teams are contenders and which are pretenders.

  1. +1 For Home Wins
  2. +2 For Road Wins
  3. -2 For Home Losses
  4. -1 For Road Losses
  5. In the event of a tie, points differential(Points Scored - Points Allowed)

Without going into much more detail, Poutlipper's Week 11 Power Rankings:

 1. Who says Kerry Collins is too old to play in this league? The Bears welcomed the Titans into Chicago thinking if they stopped the run, they stopped the Titans. The Titans may be the only elite team in the AFC. (13 PCS Points)

  2. The Giants are not far behind the Tennessee Titans with an 8-1 record. Going into the road in Philadelphia on Sunday night showed the nation what this team was capable of doing. (10 PCS Points)

  3. Despite Jake Delhomme, the Panthers showed what they're good at on Sunday. The Panthers Defense held the Raiders to 6 points and Julius Peppers showed why he's considered one of the best. It also didn't hurt that Deangelo Williams had 140 yards rushing on 19 carries. (7 PCS Points)

 4. You win the game in the trenches. The Ravens are the #3 rushing offense in the league, and #1 defense against the run. These are keys for success. Oh, it also doesn't hurt when your rookie QB hasn't turned the ball over in 4 weeks. (5 PCS Points)

 5. The Pittsburgh Steelers might be an elite team, but not when Big Ben plays injured. They may be better off letting him take a week to rest. (5 PCS Points)

 6. Not a pretty win, but they held on, and now have a 4 game lead in their division with 7 games remaining. Right now Warner looks to be the early candidate for MVP. (5 PCS Points)

 7. Hopefully the Buccanneers had time during their bye week to figure out why they almost lost to the Chiefs. Good teams play well down the stretch, Tampa will have to come out next week firing. (5 PCS Points)

 8. People are starting to believe in what the Falcons have going on this year after soundly beating the New Orleans Saints. Falcons will get plenty of chances from here on to show whether or not they're for real or not. (5 PCS Points)

 9. When your running back has run for 100 yards in 5 straight games, you've got something working. The Vikings turned some heads beating the Green Bay Packers. They're now tied for first in the NFC North (5 PCS Points)

10.Tom who? I'm kidding. Cassel has looked pretty good for his limited experience, but we'll see how he does against the Jets this weekend. The winner of this game is in good position to take the division. (4 PCS Points)

 11. The NFC wild-card race is starting to tighten up. Fortunately the Redskins are in position for the #1 seed at the moment. A win over Dallas this week will be key if they want to make it past week 17. (4 PCS Points)

 12. It has been a rough few weeks for the Dallas Cowboys, but fortunately Tony Romo is expected to play Sunday against the Redskins. This team has entirely too much talent to be 5-4; many expect the Cowboys to make a run this weekend. (4 PCS Points)

 13. Playoff teams don't lose prime-time games at home. The lostt to the Giants left a lot of people, including the Eagles, questioning whether or not they would get to play in January. (3 PCS Points)

 14. The Bears are a completely different team with Kyle Orton playing instead of Rex Grossman. Although they were able to completely shut down the Titans' running game, Kerry Collins was able to have his best game in over 3 years. (3 PCS Points)

 15. Starting the season 5-1, this was such a feel good story. You almost have to feel bad for the Buffalo Bills. They've dropped 3 in a row, and have not showed they're going to correct their problems any time soon. (2 PCS Points)

 16. Hands down, the best 5-4 team in the NFL. Somehow, with Bob Sanders in the game, this is a completely different defense. The Colts are getting hot at the right time, and although might be a little too late for the division title, they're in good position to take a wild card. (2 PCS Points)

 17. We know the Jets are good at home posting a 4-1 record, but their game Thursday night against the Patriots could pave the way to the division title. It's likely the winner of this game could hold on and take the AFC East. (1 PCS Points)

 18. I think we all wonder how the wildcat formation works week-in and week-out. The fact is, they've exceeded all expectations thanks to Ronnie Brown and Chad Pennington. The AFC East best not sleep on the Dolphins, they're lurking. (1 PCS Points)

 19. Absolutely a wildcard team. I'm not talking about playoff positioning, but in terms of which team shows up week to week. The fourth quarter of the Broncos/Bears game was one of the most entertaining 15 minutes of football I've seen all year. Jay Cutlet is the real deal and potentially can beat any given team on any given Sunday. (1 PCS Points)

 20. What can be said for the Packers really? They've gone along way from being in the NFC Championship game to being 4-5 and 3rd in their division. For now, we'll just blame it on injuries. (-1 PCS Points)
 Teams 21-32

It's gonna get mixed up again this week. With the Jets win over the Patriots in NE, the Jets will gain +2, and the Patriots will get -2.
