Utilizing an Unbumpable Route from the Slot Receiver
When unbumpable routes first get discovered it significantly changes the way that Madden is currently being played within the community. These types of routes are so effective because they provide you with a consistent threat to beat man to man defenses. In this tip we are going to showcase one route in particular that not only beats the man to man bump n' run, but it also provides you with a great chance for 6 easy points. Figure 1 - In this image you can see the offensive assignments for the play. We want you to focus on the slot receiver because the route that he is running is unbumpable. However, this is a throw that will take timing and precision, so read below to find out how it works.

Figure 2 - As the quarterback takes the snap you can see that the outside receiver is getting bumped by the cornerback. Meanwhile, the slot receiver begins running towards the right sidelines without even being touched.

Figure 5 - As mentioned above, this throw requires timing and precision. We make the lob pass to the slot receiver at this point in the play as we press up on the directional pad. Also, one thing we want you to notice is the reason that this pass becomes an option is because the safety is forced to move towards the middle of the field to account for the other receiver.

Final Conclusion
Being able to consistently beat the bump n' run can make your game the passing one to fear. We would recommend placing one of your fastest receivers in at the slot position on the field. However, we do not recommend placing your fastest player there. We suggest substituting your fastest receiver on the far left side of the field to force your opponent to have to manually guard that area of the field.
