Ever wonder what would happen if the Madden cover didn't result in the cursing of a player, but instead boosted their career? Fred Villarruel and I decided to determine who could use it the most. Thanks to Fred for creating the awesome covers.
Behold...Bizarro Madden Covers!
Reche Caldwell will be remembered as the guy who always looked shocked, no matter the situation. This however was never more apparent than when he dropped critical passes in the AFC Championship game against the Colts. It’s difficult to describe the the emotion felt across the nation as the camera zoomed in to catch his very natural reactions. He could use the cover to get a boost to his image since his nickname is "Headlights". Somehow I bet that wasn't his first choice.

Eli Manning - QB - New York Giants
Eli Manning’s football genes seem to have come from another family. He is inaccurate and lacks leadership. Maybe a year on the cover could lift him to the level of his teammate Michael Strahan, and he could end up doing Subway commercials with that jackass Jared. If Eli graces the cover, he may even lose "black sheep" status of the Manning family.

Tony Romo - QB - Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo’s botched snap ended up costing the Cowboys a chance at winning the NFC Wild Card game against Seattle this past year. Can he recover from the emotional issues dealing with that as well as having Terrell Owens as a teammate? He may need some help from the cover to have a chance. We know how many reasons T.O. has to live...how many does Romo have?

Pacman Jones/Tank Johnson/Chris Henry - Future Felons - Jail
This trio can represent new modes within Madden. “Thug mode”, “Make it rain mode”, "Drunk Driving mode", “Assault Rifle mode”, and “Ankle Biting mode”. As the commish in the game, hopefully you can suspend them just like real life. They’ve got better things to do anyway. Time to hit the club! We haven't seen a threesome this lethal since Run T.M.C.

Matt Millen - GM - Detroit Lions
Matt Millen has a career record of 3-146 since taking over as Detroit's GM. Ask him about it and he'll tell you stories about that great win against the Cowboys. What a day that was. At this point a winning season seems like a miracle that even the Madden cover wouldn’t be able to provide.

Warren Sapp - DT - Oakland Raiders
Kris Jenkins made it well known his thoughts on Warren Sapp. "He talks too much, he doesn't make sense, he's fat, he's sloppy, he acts like he's the best thing since sliced bread. He's ugly, he stinks, his mouth stinks, his breath stinks, and basically his soul stinks, too." Sounds like a perfect fit for the cover.

Kellen Winslow Jr. - TE - Cleveland Browns
Despite having had a major accident while showing off on his motorcycle in addition to other severe injuries and surgeries, Kellen Winslow Jr. has shown the resolve of a "f'ing soldier". Already a symbol of class and integrity in the NFL, making the cover would boost what has already been an illustrious career, both in football and in the military.
