thought i might make one universal thread for offseason moves. they're going to start coming pretty quick probably

-Yankees traded Jaret Wright to Baltimore for Chris Britton, and the Yanks will pay 4 out of the 7m owed next season.

-Aramis Ramirez opted out of his current contract with the Cubs but signed a 5 year deal today with them

-Kerry Wood agreed on a 1 year deal with the Cubs also
