apparently the Red Sox have the top bid for Matsuzaka
if so, that's great. the money they throw at him for the bid doesnt count against the tax threshold so its free money basically. we could use his arm more importantly. and we block other teams from signing him this year if we don't reach an agreement. plus, we can trade the rights to deal with him to another team that wants him more. i think its a great move
