Most of the stuff mentioned here are great. Here's my wishlist:
1 - Sticks get knocked off players more and further, but not often. Like helmets, it would get knocked off players if you hit them hard enough and they wouldn't pick it up automatically if it flew too far from the player.
2 - Follow through on the shootout mode feature on current gen. It sucks. Period.
3 - Actually get Free-4-All online like they said it would be for 07.
4 - In depth Create-A-Player/Team mode like the Madden series.
5 - Superstar Mode would be awesome, but unlikely. It's worth mentioning anyway.
6 - Right analog stick for shooting for current gens.
7 - Deeper Dynasty for current gens.
8 - Mentioned earlier,
new and longer Stanley Cup presentation scene.
9 - The current gen goalies need a bit more tweaking. If done right, it'd be good.
10 -
Goaltender injuries. Groin pulls and sprains/tears would be good enough. It would help in Dynasty to give your backup more games to play.

It would be just awesome if it's released for the Wii with full use of the motion features. Actually swinging the controller as hard as you can for a slap shot or a nudge for tapping the puck in...it would be the s**t.
