What do I want to see for Next Gen?
1) Penalties for putting the puck over the glass from the defensive zone
2) Double Minor, Coincidentals, multiple penalties, and roughing for hitting after the whistle, perhaps even a little pushing and shoving between teams on close plays in front of the net that result in a couple roughing penalties
3) Lets see the players use the gate on a line change
4) Superstar mode
5) 5 minute majors for high sticking and drawing blood (the NHL and NHLPA may not allow blood, so make 2% of all high sticking calls 5 minute majors, the same with some vicious hits on the boards, make those a 0.2% probability)
6) In Game season stats
7) Random Schedules after Season 1
8) Multiple Officials on the ice
9) Too Many Men On The Ice penalties if the puck is played at the bench during a line change (1% probability)
10) Less hitting the post
11) Bring back the option of playing the NHL season on International Ice (This may not be possible with the Arena Models)
12) Vintage Sweaters
13) Goalie Interference Penalties
14) Blown Calls on Goals (And Video Replay) one could argue that blown goal calls are already in 07
15) An Action Cam view (This would work especially well in Superstar Mode)
16) More In depth Dynasty with more staff hiring options.
17) CHL (WHL, OHL, QMJHL) and AHL License. If not adding the tams for a playable minors option, at least have the players available for calling up and or drafting.
18) Better notification of blockbuster transactions in the league. Not just the weekly update. (Federov got traded in my dynasty and I didn't even realize until I saw him playing for Minnesota)
19) Playable Practices which provide attribute benefits
20) More mini games.
21) More Contract Options (No Trade Clauses, Team Options, and Performance Bonuses)
22) Add in the Automatic Suspension for getting an Instigator penalty in the last 5 minutes
23) Bring back Goalie tripping penalties
24) An Option for the player to always face up. I hate having the change it depending if its a home game or away game
