Today we have learned that in the 2008 NCAA Football Meeting
that the smaller conferences, WAC, Sun Belt, C-USA, and the MAC have joined the FCS because they want a playoff and the bigger confernces dont. NCAA president Myles Brand had these words to say, " I think what happened today was good because these smaller schoolsa weren't having part in the BCS at all and the big schools were getting all the glory." After hours of debating what to do the smaller cnfernces decided this. Some of the FCS conferences didnt like it so they decided to obtain DIII status. Notre Dame will also be joining the big conferences to keep playing the BCS.
