Hey, Matt Kulle here. This afternoon, I resigned as Assistant Coach of Siena. I had been there 6 years and I felt that it is time to move on. Now, I need a job. Here, I will document the whole process as well as give you play-by-play as the season goes on. Wish me luck.

Today was my Marist interview. Here's how it went.

Marist AD:Good evening Mr. Kulle.

Me:Please, call me Matt. How are you doing?

Marist AD: I'm fine. Let's get started.

Me: Alright.

Marist AD: I see on your application it says you were previously the Assistanc Coach for Siena, correct?

Me: Yes

Marist AD: Why did you step down? They're a 3 star school, and I hear the pay well.

Me: I had been there 6 years and I felt it was time for a change. I didn't feel like I was going anywhere with them.

Marist AD: Alright. So, where did you coach before Siena?

Me: I coached at my old High School, Nottingham. We won state in '94,' 96, and '97.

Marist AD: That's all the experience you have?

Me: Yes.

Marist AD: Hmm. Why do you feel qualified for the Head Coach position here at Marist.

Me: I'm a born leader. I am a very strong willed person. I wont take any stuff from these kids and I'm a tough coach. I do all that I can do make these kids the best they can be.

Marist AD: I see. So you feel that, even with your minimal coaching experience, you're still quialified to take this job, becase you're a stern coach?

Me: If you want to put it that way, then yes.

Marist AD: Good answer. Are you married? Do you have kids? What's your background?

Me: I am married with a son. His name is Benjamin, he turns 6 in a week. My wife and I have been married for a wonderful 7 years now, and we're happy as ever.

Marist AD: Alright, well I'm sorry to cut you short but I have a meeting to attend. Thank you for being here today.

Me: Thank you for having me, and I hope to hear from you soon.

looks cool man, i like how you left it open for possibly switching schools by just using the coaches name going to the MAAC nice thats what conference im in now to bad you wont be playing Dartmouth in your Dynasty :(
