Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar

THIS JUST IN

PG #01, a key contribuator, has just been suspended for 2 games for undisclosed reasons. Our very reliable sources say it was because he refused to pay at a local restaurant because he was on the team. This should be a big blow considering they have K-State next.

On the brighter side, two recruits, have already accepted scholarships to the University of Michigan.
Andrew Chung- SF
Ty Coffee- SF

The third is PG Ali Hines who is more than likely going to commit to Michigan.

Sorry guys, posted this all screwed up. You didn't miss anything though. I just accidently re-posted the start of the K-State game.

#12 Kansas St. Wildcats (5-1)

Michigan Starting Lineups:
C- C #22- 71 ovr
PF- PF #34- 72 ovr
SF- SF #24- 71 ovr
SG- Zach Myers- 76 ovr

This was a fantastic game. Michigan had slim margin with around three and a half to go in the game. But SF #24 and Zach Myers were nailing 3-balls and made it too little too late. Michael Beasley (PF #30) was held to only 7 points. Michigan comes up with another upset 65-61.

Michigan Key Players
Zach Myers- 26 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. 1 stl.
SF #24- 14 pts. 4 ast. 5 stl.

Game 9

California Golden Bears (4-4)
@
Michigan Wolverines (7-1)

California Starting Lineup:
C- C #35- 77 ovr
PF- PF #21- 71 ovr
SF- SF #21- 72 ovr
SG- SG #24- 74 ovr
PG- PG #03- 72 ovr

Michigan Starting Lineups:
C- C #22- 71 ovr
PF- PF #34- 72 ovr
SF- SF #24- 71 ovr
SG- Zach Myers- 76 ovr
PG- PG #11- 68 ovr

This again was a nail biter. Cal was up by 5 with :45 to play. Michigan had the ball and scored a lay-up. Then U of M played the Half Court Trap which has worked so well and got a steal. On the fast break SG #03 scored. Uh-oh. Cal only up by 1 with :20 to play. If you saw the trap coming AGAIN wouldn't you pass? Apparently not as the same guy fell into the same trap again. Michigan scored on the fast break and finished it off 61-58.

Michigan has their toughest battle of the season on Wednesday (Dec. 12) as they play #5, 7-0 Louisville.

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar

Game 10

#7 Louisville Cardinals (7-0)
@
Michigan Wolverines (8-1)

Louisville Starting Lineup:
C- C #04- 80 ovr
PF- PF #03- 80 ovr
SF- SF #01- 81 ovr
SG- SG #34- 81 ovr
PG- PG #10- 80 ovr

Michigan Starting Lineups-
C- C #22- 71 ovr
PF- PF #34- 72 ovr
SF- SF #24- 71 ovr
SG- Zach Myers- 76 ovr
PG- PG #01- 72 ovr

This was a highly anticipated game. But didn't live up to expections. Louisville was the dominant one all game. They played Full Court Press and got a lot of steals. When Louisville got up, the lead never got smaller than 5. Louisville bullies Michigan 69-53.

Louisville Key Players:
SF #01- 23 pts. 4 reb 2 ast. 2 stl.
SG #34- 20 pts. 5 reb. 3 ast. 1 blk. 8 stl.
PG #10- 13 pts. 4 reb. 6 ast. 1 blk. 3 stl.

Michigan Key Players
Zach Myers- 22 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. 4 stl.
C #22- 16 pts. 7 reb. 2 blk.

Post-Game Show

"Michigan didn't look like the 8-1 team they were did they Dick?"
-Reece Davis
"I'll tell ya what, they sure didn't. They were in no rhythm what-so-ever. PG #01, after coming back from suspension, had 2 pts. and a lot of missed shots. I thought Michigan looked like a 1-8 team."
-Dick Vitale
"Well I don't totally agree. Michigan is not a top tier team. They went up against Louisville. Who, I may remind you, is 7-0 and ranked #7 in the country. Any team that isn't more than stellar will have this happen to them."
-Digger Phelps
"Well Michigan takes on 7-1 Colorado on Friday. (Dec. 14). Hopefully they'll have a better outcome."
-Reece Davis

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar

News: Ali Hines (PG) has accepted a scholarship to Michigan. Michigan has no more scholarships to give.

Pre-Game Breakdown:
Key Matchup- SG #13 VS. Zach Myers
Deciding Factor- Big Men Play
Prediction-
"Well if you look at Michigan, what do you see? You see good guards, a dominant center, and a senior leader at small forward. So talent wise, I'd say it's Michigan. But with Colorado playing how they have been, being 7-1, I'd say Michigan is on upset alert. Final Score: Colorado-70- Michigan- 65."
-Dick Vitale

This game was a good one up to the last 5 minutes. It was close throughout. But Michigan, in those last 5 minutes, had great defense, shot well, and hit the glass. Their leading rebounder (PF #34) had 13 rebounds in the game. Michigan pulls this one out 57-54.

Michigan Key Players
Zach Myers- 18 pts. 3 reb. 2 ast. 6 stl.
C #22- 14 pts. 6 reb. 4 ast. 3 blk. 5 stl.

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar

News- PG #01 has been suspended for 2 games again because he had someone else write an exam for him. This is the second time he has been suspended and the NCAA may be forced to take action against Michigan at the end of the season.

Game 13

Michigan Wolverines
@
UCF Golden Knights

Michigan Starting Lineups:
C- C #22- 71 ovr
PF- PF #34- 72 ovr
SF- SF #24- 71 ovr
SG- Zach Myers- 76 ovr
PG- PG #11- 68 ovr

UCF Starting Lineup:
C- C #21- 69 ovr
PF- PF #02- 69 ovr
SF- SG #01- 73 ovr
SG- SG #03- 72 ovr
PG- PG #04- 73 ovr

This game was Michigans throughtout. Since that blowout loss last week, Michigan really wanted this one. The UCF frontcourt struggled in rebounds and points. Michigan took this one 75-65.

Michigan Key Players
SF #24- 28 pts. 3 reb. 2 ast.
Zach Myers- 17 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. 1 stl.

UCF Key Players
SG #01- 16 pts. 3 reb. 1 ast.
SG #03- 14 pts. 1 reb. 3 ast. 1 stl.
PG #04- 11 pts. 4 reb. 2 ast. 1 stl. 1 blk.

Michigan starts their conference schedule next Friday (Jan. 4) against Minnesota.
