Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
(Note: I moved up to All-American skill level. The hardest one)
Game 36--NCAA Tournament Round 5--Final Four (6) #21 Michigan Wolverines (27-8) @ (4) #15 Texas Longhorns (26-9) Michigan Starting Lineups- C- C #22- 71 ovr PF- PF #34- 72 ovr SF- SF #24- 71 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 76 ovr PG- PG #01- 72 ovr ![]() Texas Starting Lineup: C- C #05- 70 ovr PF- PF #32- 69 ovr SF- SF #01- 72 ovr SG- SG #03- 75 ovr PG- PG #14- 81 ovr An OT Thriller Ruins One Teams Hope of a National Title WOW! This was a real thriller. Let's start from the very beginning. Michigan had an early 6-point lead but Texas had an 8-0 run to lead by 2. It was all back and forth in the first half. Going into the 2nd half it was 32 all. Michigan finally had a run to get up by 9 but Texas got back in it with 3-point shooting. They tied it at 63 with 2:30 to play. Michigan players had clutch shots in this game. Like, when MU was down 2 with under 1 minute to play, PF #34 hit 2 free throws to tie it up. To force OT C #22 hit 2 free throws to tie the game with 4.1 seconds to go. PG #14, for the Longhorns, missed a half-court three and this one went to OT. Texas started OT very strong but like all this game, Michigan rebounded and tied it up. With under 1:30 to play MU was trailing by 4. All hope had been lost when PG #01 missed an easy lay-up. Michigan loses this heartbreaker, after a Cinderella season, 90-84. Clutch Time/Play- Texas' run toward the end of OT to give them a shot to play in the National Championship. Best Play- I don't even know. There were TON of plays that could qualify. Michigan Key Players: C #22- 22 pts. 7 reb. 2 ast. 1 blk. PF #34- 17 pts. 6 reb. 4 ast. 1 blk. 1 stl. Zach Myers- 15 pts. 2 reb. 7 ast. 1 stl. Texas Key Players: SG #03- 29 pts. 1 reb. 3 ast. 2 stl. PG #14- 18 pts. 12 ast. 1 stl. C #05- 13 pts. 6 reb. 3 ast. 2 blk. MU had a great season but they fell just short. Look for a powerful off-season to make this team even better. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINAL FOUR---GAME 2 FINAL SCORE: MEMPHIS-----73 LOUISVILLE---78 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: (4) #15 Texas Longhorns (27-9) VS. Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
OFF-SEASON--- YEAR 1 News: The NCAA has punished Michigan because their APR was under the 925 minimum. Therefore, Michigan loses 2 scholarships. With Michigans one scholarship, they give it to Small Forward Andrew Chung (5-star caliber) SF #24 and PG #11 are leaving because of graduation. During recruiting, Michigan got Junior Point Guard Rupert Berger (81 ovr). Biggest News: Michigan has cut PG #01. (With Berger and ALL my SG's and Andrew Chung, I didn't think he'd get enough playing time and then he'd complain and I don't want that.) __________________ Last edited by YoungWonda : 04-26-2008 at 01:34 PM. |

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
Game 1-Year 2 Southern Illinois Salukis (0-0) @ #16 Michigan Wolverines (0-0) Southern Illinois Starting Lineup: C- C #50- 65 ovr PF- PF #35- 70 ovr SF- SF #05- 68 ovr SG- SG #04- 69 ovr PG- PG #10- 71 ovr Michigan Starting Lineup: C- C #22- 73 ovr PF- PF #34- 74 ovr SF- Andrew Chung- 74 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 77 ovr PG- Rupert Berger- 81 ovr Michigan definetly looked in-sync with their new lineup. They had a late 1st half run and a early 2nd half run to get their lead up to as many as 15. Rupert Berger and Andrew Chung (new recruits) looked good in their Michigan debut. They scored 30 points between the two of them. Michigans starts the season on a good foot by winning 64-50. Clutch Time/Play- Clutch wasn't needed as Michigan rolledover SIU. Best Play- A monster dunk over 2 big guys by Chung off of a High Post. Southern Illinois Key Players: SG #04- 18 pts. 1 ast. SF #05- 17 pts. 8 reb. 2 ast. 1 stl. Michigan Key Players: Rupert Berger- 16 pts. 1 reb. 4 ast. 3 stl. Andrew Chung- 14 pts. 2 reb. 2 ast. 1 stl. C #22- 11 pts. 6 reb. 1 ast. 5 blk. 2 stl. Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
DETROIT FREE PRESS The Michigan Wolverines have reportedly been highly interested in 4 recruits. (PG) Derek Banks, (PG) Derek Blake, (SF) Jason Lane, and (SF) Malcolm Combs. They only have 1 scholarship to give so they will be looking for the best out of these guys. Michigan sources say that Michigan wants a good Freshman PG to lead the team. They say they will sign a SF during the Recruiting period in the off-season. __________________ |
