Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
Game 4--Year 2 Cincinnati Bearcats (3-1) @ #13 Michigan Wolverines (3-0) ![]() Cincinnati Starting Lineup: C- Connor Vaughan- 75 ovr PF- PF #32- 71 ovr SF- Justin Zimmerman SG- SG #39- 73 ovr PG- PG #52- 77 ovr Michigan Starting Lineup: C- C #22- 73 ovr PF- PF #34- 74 ovr SF- Andrew Chung- 74 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 77 ovr PG- SG #03- 74 ovr Cincinnati showed why they are 3-1. They had a good run but like in the UNC Greensboro game, Michigan came back. But it wasn't a lop-sided 2nd half. Justin Zimmerman, a Small Forward Freshman, kept them in it by scoring 20 points. Michigan, though, took over with 2 minutes left and got up to an 8 point lead. That was very critical late. MU could of put them away earlier with Free Throws but they were only 14/25. But a win is a win and Michigan got one, 66-60. Clutch Time/Play- Michigans last 2minute run getting up to an 8-point lead. Best Play- ??? Weren't very much spectacular plays in this one. Cincinnati Key Players: Connor Vaughan- 11 pts. 9 reb. 1 ast. 1 stl. 2 blk. Justin Zimmerman- 20 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. PG #52- 12 pts. 3 reb. 7 ast. Michigan Key Players: C #22- 11 pts. 10 reb. 3 ast. Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
I will be posting the Top 25 at the start of every month. I will b doing Pre-Game Analysis/Post-Game Breakdowns when I play the 4 ranked teams in a row. I am playing on All-American skill level (which is why my games are close and I'm not scoring as much). Thought I'd take my time to say this.
I am playing my game in about 15 min. from now |

Game 5--Year 2 #13 Michigan Wolverines (4-0) @ Washington St. Cougars (2-3) Michigan Starting Lineup: C- C #22- 73 ovr PF- PF #34- 74 ovr SF- Andrew Chung- 74 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 77 ovr PG- Rupert Berger- 81 ovr ![]() Washington St. Starting Lineup: C- C #11- 77 ovr PF- PF #32- 80 ovr SF- SF #04- 79 ovr SG- SG #20- 72 ovr PG- PG #10- 78 ovr MICHIGAN PLAYS WITHOUT 3 LATE, BUT STILL PULLS OFF DOMINATING WIN Ann Arbor, MI (AP), The #13 ranked Michigan Wolverines traveled to play previously ranked Washington St. Washington St was 2-3 and played like it today. Michigan got off to an early 24-6 start and the lead never got under 10 the rest of the way. The story tonight, though, was Michigans fouls. They had 16 total fouls and were in the Bonus with 3:00 to go in the 2nd half. 5 of those fouls were on Rupert Berger. That resulted in him being fouled out with about 1:30 to go. The other 2 Michigan players lost late were Andrew Chung and SG #03. Andrew Chung was the first to go when he injured his wrist. He didn't come back. SG #03 went about a minute later with a forearm injury. Neither will miss the next game but left Michigan short-handed late. That was OK for Michigan because Zach Myers stepped up scoring a season-high for him, 19 points.[indent]"Well I knew we were short 1 or 2 guys and I wasn't trying to be a ball-hog or anything but if I saw a shot, I took it." Washington St. never put one of their bench people in the whole game. All 5 starters stayed out the full 20 minutes. Michiagan took this one and improves to 5-0, 80-68. Michigan doesn't start the hardest part if their schedule until after their next game against Tulsa. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clutch Time- Michigan having a dominant start having a lead of 18. Best Play- C #32 had a rebound and jammed it with authority over Washington States Center. Washington St. Key Players: SG #20- 22 pts. 1 reb. 6 ast. 1 stl. SF #04- 18 pts. 3 reb. 3 ast. 3 stl. PG #10- 12 pts. 1 reb. 5 ast. Michigan Key Players: Rupert Berger (fouled out)- 11 pts. 6 ast. 4 stl. Zach Myers- 19 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. 2 stl. C #22- 20 pts. 4 reb. 1 ast. 1 stl. 3 blk. Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
Game 6--Year 2 #14 Michigan Wolverines (5-0) @ Tulsa Golden Hurricane (2-5) Michigan Starting Lineup: C- C #22- 73 ovr PF- PF #34- 74 ovr SF- Andrew Chung- 74 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 77 ovr PG- Rupert Berger- 81 ovr \Tulsa Starting Lineup: C- C #45- 71 ovr PF- C #23- 70 ovr SF- SF #11- 67 ovr SG- SG #01- 76 ovr PG- PG #02- 70 ovr Michigan had a lot they wanted coming into this game. Coming out they wanted: Confidence for their hardest part of the schedule, a good win to get 6-0, and a blowout win. Check all 3 off the list. Tulsa came out on fire having a 15-6 lead. But every team that has played MU this season has done that. What does MU do? They come out and dominate. No difference here as Michigan rolled over Tulsa and showed why they deserve to be 6-0. Michigan heads into the hardest part of their schedule after a 68-52 win. Clutch Time/Play- Michigan coming back from a 15-6 defecit and winning in a fashionable way. Best Play- With 4 guys on the right side of the court for Tulsa guarding SG #03 and SG #15, C #32 came down the lane and SG #03 hit him with a great pass for the jam. Michigan Key Players: Zach Myers- 11 pts. 2 reb. 3 ast. 1 stl. C #22- 8 pts. 4 reb. 4 ast. 1 blk. SG #03 (off bench)- 9 pts. 2 reb. 2 ast. 1 stl. Tulsa Key Players: SF #11- 20 pts. 3 reb. 1 ast. 1 stl. SG #01- 23 pts. 2 reb. 2 ast. 1 blk. 1 stl. Michigan finally goes into the dreading part of their schedule, first, against previously ranked, 4-3, Missouri Tigers. Last edited by YoungWonda : 04-29-2008 at 07:32 PM. |

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
NEWS Small Forward, Andrew Chung, has had a serious infraction and will be suspended 3 games. MU does not want their only scholarship taken away, so they are going to be really tight about suspensions. Sources say there was a booster paying for his cell phone. PRE-GAME ANALYSIS MISSOURI TIGERS AT MICHIGAN WOLVERINES Dick Vitale-- "When I look at this game, I see Missouri crashing the boards to win this one. Out of Michigans 6 games, they only out-rebounded their opponent once. Missouri is averaging 31 rebounds per game and Michigan is only averaging 17. Last in their conference. If Mizzou wants a shot to beat the #14 team in the nation, they need to crash the boards and get A LOT of 2nd chance points." Digger Phelps-- "Well the weakest point, to me, for Michigan is their defense against the Shooting Guard and Small Forward. If you look at their 5 games (didn't have stats for one of them) Michigan is giving up an average of 20 points to the Small Forward and an average of 19 points to the Shooting Guard. I think if Mizzou wants a chance they need to get the ball to R. Mitchell (SF) and SG #02 A LOT if they want to win." PREDICTIONS- Dicky V.----75-70---Michigan Digger------70-65---Missouri |
