Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
7-0 and a 24 point beatdown on Mizzou.
Nice going. Get the fans cheering about something other than the retirement of Lloyd Carr. ![]() |

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
I was seriously considering 09. I just got 08 to try and I really like it. If I get 09, would you guys follow another dynasty?

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
POST-GAME BREAKDOWN MISSOURI TIGERS VS. MICHIGAN WOLVERINES Dick Vitale-- "Well Missouri got slaughtered. We can conclude that much. They out-rebounded Michigan but that obviously wasn't enough." Digger Pehelps-- "Yeah and they did have their Shooting Guard and Small Forward combine for 28 points, but as you said, even with both of our keys happening, that wasn't enough." Dick Vitale-- "I guess we have to look at what the other team has to do to Michigan instead of what they have to do offensively." Digger Phelps-- "Yeah, for Texas A&M to win they have to...." Reece Davis-- "Ah, ah, ah. Don't say that, wait for the next Pre-Game Breakdown to give that out. Join us next time as we see what The Aggies have to do to finally end Michigans perfect season" __________________ |

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
PRE-GAME ANALYSIS TEXAS A&M AGGIES VS. MICHIGAN WOLVERINES Digger Phelps-- "Well where I left of last time was, what Texas A&M has to do to win is stop giving so many turnovers. From 5 games (again, didn't have stats or one) Michigans opponent has an average of 17.1 turnovers. Most, of which, comes from Michigans Half Court Trap Defense. Texas A&M needs to avoid 17 turnovers and get out of the Trap fast so they don't get turnovers, and last and most important, don't make stupid mistakes. Like, Shot Clock Violation, Stepping on the Out of Bounds Line etc." Dick Vitale-- "Well Digger, my key to victory for Texas A&M is that they need to stop all Michigans assists they are getting. Through 6 games Michigan is averaging 20 assists while their oppenent is only averaging 11 assists per game. Texas A&M needs fast break points and pass to the open man. Hey, whats wrong with making the extra pass and getting 2 points instead of a tough shot you could try to take? Nothing!! So the Aggies need to PASS THE BALL BABY!!" Reece Davis-- "Alright guys, let's see how you think the game is going to turn out...." Dick Vitale-- "I think Michigan is too good at passing the rock and distributing the ball. I don't think, just off the top of my head, that anyone on Michigan this season, has had more than 20 points. 19 is the highest amount. That shows distributing the ball. Michigan goes 8-0 with the score being 75-60." Digger Phelps-- "I honestly do think Michigan should be rated higher than 14. They average tremendous numbers and have great talent. Great depth off the bench and Michigan, I think, is too strong for the Aggies. Stealing the ball and causing turnovers is how Michigan wins games and I don't think Texas A&M can stop that. Michigan wins 80-70." __________________ Last edited by YoungWonda : 05-01-2008 at 04:05 PM. |

Somewhere In, WA-- That's what all the fans in Washington were saying after a great win over the #4 ranked team in the nation. "Well, yeah, we are wanting to know what the hype is. If we win by 15 or whatever it was, they must have only played bad teams to be 8-0." Those were the words of PF #40 who has a lot of room to talk after a 34 point outing. "Uhh..we..uh..weren't good from the field. And...uhhh...we couldn't stop them on the other side of the court. They're a great team. Gotta hand them that." Those were the words of disappointed Zach Myers who didn't do bad with 14 points. "We really wanted to keep that streak going. Guess we got a little big-headed." Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
PRE-GAME BREAKDOWN MICHIGAN WOLVERINES VS. KANSAS JAYHAWKS Reece Davis-- "Ok guys, a very good game today. We got Michigan coming off a tough loss to the Washington Huskies. Then we got Kansas, where in their last game, won against Southern Illinois 87-52. Michigan is ranked 4th and Kansas is ranked 13th. So guys, who is gonna win and how are they gonna do it?" Dick Vitale-- "For Kansas to win against Michigan tey have to do 2 things and 2 things only. One: Keep the stats close. Like don't have 20 turnovers and Michigan has 12. You need to do what Washington did. Listen to these stats. Steals, Michigan, 15. Washington, 15. Turnovers, Michigan 18. Washington 20. Keep those important stats close. The other thing is to stop Michigans High Post. Michigan gets a lot of clutch points off the High Post or Fist. Stop those and Michigan will be forced to make jumpers." Digger Phelps-- "Well when we've been doing these Pre-Game Breakdowns we've been saying what the other team has to do to beat Michigan. Well, now we know Michigan can be beat and Kansas knows how now. Michigan, to win, has to stop Brandon Rush (SF #25). He is very explosive and can slam it on you, take a mid-range shot, or drain a 3. Michigan has to hold him to around 10 points. But if Michigan is too focused on containing Rush, other people will be open. It'll be interesting to see how Michigan plays defense." Reece Davis-- "Ok guys, whats the outcome?" Dick Vitale-- 85-84 Michigan Digger Phelps-- 85-80 Kansas __________________ |

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
I just realized something. I didn't do a Post-Game Breakdown for the A&M game or anything for the Washington game. Sorry 'bout that. Post-Game Breakdown will be posted on the Kansas game.

Re: Michigan Wolverines Dynasty/SuperStar
Game 10--Year 2 #4 Michigan Wolverines (8-1) @ #13 Kansas Jayhawks (6-1) Michigan Starting Lineup: C- C #22- 73 ovr PF- PF #34- 74 ovr SF- Andrew Chung- 74 ovr SG- Zach Myers- 77 ovr PG- Rupert Berger- 81 ovr ![]() Kansas Starting Lineup: C- C #45- 78 ovr PF- PF #00- 79 ovr SF- SF #25-85 ovr SG- Dan Reynolds- 81 ovr PG- PG #15- 85 ovr (Sorry for delay! Bad News: My digital camera is out of batteries and, of course, we dont have anymore. So no pics for KU game, or Ohio game. Possibly not even the Va Tech game if I want to play it tonight. )'ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK' ISN'T QUITE SO ROCK CHALK Ann Arbor, MI (AP)- Michigan was ranked number 4 going into this game. With an effort like they had in this game, they should be number 1. Kansas' Dan Reynolds and PG #15 were bright spots in the KU offense. They totaled 42 points. Brandon Rush (SF#25) wasn't as bright as he wnted to be only scoring 16. But it was better than Michigans' back court. Michigans' back court only totaled 41 points, while KUs' back court scored 58 points. But it was the Michigan bench that won the game. Kansas' bench didn't manage a point. That's not surprising because only 2 people from the bench played. Michigans' bench rallied up 29 points, all divided up evenly. The first half was all Kansas as they had the lead throughout. KU was up by 4 going into break. Michigans' offense shone bright with about 5:30 left in the 2nd half as they took a 6-point lead. Their biggest of the game. But KU went on a 11-1 scoring run to re-take the lead. The last :45 seconds were so energetic, it wasn't even funny. Michigan was down 5 with :45 to go and it looked like all hope was lost. But Berger stepped up and nailed a 3. Now their was about :35 to go. KU fell victim to the Half Court Trap Defense that Michigan runs so well. That gave an easy fast-break slam by Myers, but KU challenged him and fouled him. With the 2 biggest free throws of the game, Myers nails them both to tie it. KU called a timeout and fell victim, yet again, to the HC Trap D. But instead of driving all the way, Chung slowed it down and passed to Berger so he could set up the offense. They tried the High Post and.....Chung got fouled. He made 1 of 2. Michigan was only 12-25 from the stripe, but they made the ones that mattered most. KU could not get their offense going the last :15 so MU shot Free Throws to win a very close on 83-78. Clutch Time/Play- Michigans' Free Throw shooting the last :45 seconds to tie and win the game. Best Play- Berger had a nice pass to Myers, which Myers soared with the Double Pump dunk. KU l MU 21 Rebounds 27 17 Assists 17 10 Steals 11 0 Blocks 2 33/52 Field Goals 33/58 2/14 3-Pointers 5/10 10/12 Free Throws 12/25 Michigan Player Stats (BOLD= Key Players---- UNDERLINED= Best off Bench) C #22- 10 pts. 4 reb. 2 ast. 1 stl.
