Will you post your coach mode career online?
We've got a pretty popular Madden franchise section here at MN. I'm wondering how many of you might post a coach mode career with screens and all of that good stuff. We'll definitely have a forum for people who are interested.

Couple have said yes and a couple no. Do any of you guys already do a Madden franchise that you post online or will this be your first time posting something like that?

I will if I find I have time for it, but since it will be my first ever it may not be too great, but it'll be fun...

I will post my coaching venture online... Would also be ibterested in going up against people here in an online game.. If it is possible, it would be great to get a league started and play against eac other, one vs one online.. Then just record the stats online for all to see..
If anyone remember FBpro98, you could compete against other coaches in an online league, by either going head to head, or just exchanging coacking profiles and game plans over the internet for a commissioner to simm... Would love a head to head league for HC.. Last edited by Cornbread Mafia : 04-06-2006 at 09:49 PM. |

I was thinking about posting some details of my head coaching career online. My first thoughts have been just about a running storyline. I'm not advanced enough with the computer to be confident that I can post screens, boxscores or anything else visual. However, I know I can use the written word.
CM's comment about a head to head league online sounds great in theory but might be more than my time limitations could handle. I do like the idea of human competition. It adds an element of unpredictability. Thinking along those lines, what I've been reading here about the game makes it sound as if only one human player can play as a head coach within a single league structure. Is that true or is there a way for a group of friends to coach different teams (offline) in a single league together? That would be great fun too (although I don't think it is something I'll be able to do). |

Restore the ROAR!
I'm going to try and track a weekly thread on the Detroit Lions' rise to power. I'll be playing on my PS2, so I won't be posting screens unless the digital camera option produces decent results. I'm going to be focusing on the personnel moves and game prep and strategy. I just don't see myself getting too much into developing my own plays, as this is a bit unwieldy with the PS2. I would play on the PC, but my POS laptop won't run it.
