So lan said his rosters will be coming out tomorrow. If thats true are we going to start ? Or wait a few days when a updated one is out with ratings, depth charts, etc.?

How about sliders ? Does the commish set the sliders for everyone?

Owl knows this, but some of the others may not. I will be gone on vacation (alaska cruise) and unable to play games from friday august 1st to saturday aug. 9th. I should also be able to play some on sunday the 10th, but I'm not sure what time that will be. I have a 5 hour flight (early) and Lex Luger is coming to speak at my church that night. In a perfect world we can get upto my bye week which is week 5. So that way you can sim one of my games before or after that and I won't miss much.

Here is the dilemma, LanteriX @ OS has completed up to this point this set of rosters and they appear to be working flawless. However EA has announced that they will send the patch request to both MS and Sony and then it will have to pass certification or approval. How long that takes who knows, but my guess would be the middle of next week.

LanteriX should have his rosters completed Friday, if he does not encounter the "roster bug" thus deleting FIU. Now my understanding is that if he might happen to encounter this "roster bug" then all his work will be for not because the file will be corrupt somewhere and it will not coincide with the patch. Let us pray that does not happen, but Im sure he is making plenty of backups after each team he is inputing.

Now LanteriX is only doing the default rosters and I personally would like the most accurate rosters for teams up to date and there are sevral threads @ OS stating who needs to be added or either removed, now we can wait for all this to take place, meaning wait for another roster set that has up to date and accurate rosters or just add those that are missing off of our teams (Sammie Stroughter).

Please let me know what you think fellas, I know I am up to just wait until a complete set of rosters is actually released.

I already have a partial file posted with the top 25 teams + 6 others. See the bottom of this post for the download.

These are for the most part simply just named rosters. I made a few number changes along the way as necessary, but ratings haven't been touched in any way shape or form.

I would also like complete rosters, but It all depends on how fast the deafult rosters are out. If lan does get his rosters out by friday then that would give everyone all weekend to work on the next update. I'm hoping we can get this started before I leave since if we don't the game will be out a month before we start the dynasty.

Do you have to wait till the rosters are set to send out the invites ?

Another little thing I was thinking about once the league gets up and running it is going to be pretty cool just getting on and chatting in the league lobby about recruits and stats and what not. Hurry up damn rosters

We might want to look into taking out the FCS teams some of the guys in the other leagues are putting up crazy scores.

Does anyone have any roster corrections that need to be made to there team? weight, height, position, etc. ?

TE NaDerris Ward (transfered) should be replaced with Bruce Figgins who is the #2 TE all of last year. Bruce wears #89 and is 6'4 254 and 79 rating (that ward has) is correct.

HB Xavier Avery (will play MLB baseball instead of football) should be replaced with Carlton Thomas. Both are true freshman Avery was a 3 star and Thomas was a 4 star per scout.com. Thomas is listed at 5'7 175 pounds

There has been a lot of talk about this dynasty bug that seems to be showing wrong scores and stats of members games. Hopefully EA will address this issue quickly and they seem to think it has something to do with the custom stadium sounds, but nothing is official yet. However if this is not addressed by the time the roster/depth chart patch is released we will start our dynasty.

I have a couple of plans in place how we will implement a possible work around. After everyone has played I will save the dynasty on to the console and also a flash drive and would like Gerogiafan to do this as well just in case I am unable to restart the dynasty as the commish (another bug) then Georgiafan would be the new commish. Georgiafan can upload the offline dynasty to the servers and invite all the members again...we will be able to pick up right where we left off!

Another possible work around that is going around is to make sure all members are signed out of the dynasty with the exception of the commish.

If saving it like you said will work then that sounds like the best thing to do atleast until the figure everything out. So that we would only miss a week or something if something went wrong. I know I want to get started, but at the same time I dont want to have start over in 2 weeks.

The only question I have is if we start it up with lan (or someone else's) rosters then the patch comes outs and his rosters don't work. What will happen to the dynasty?
