Re: Florida Gators Official Team Thread- Fear the Swamp
Sorry bro, but you have to play your game against Arkansas again. Shouldnt be a problem and will probably beat them again, but worse considering know some of their tendencies.

Re: Florida Gators Official Team Thread- Fear the Swamp
No he played his game before he left and Georgia and I had to restart league because he is outta town, so it only saved at beginning of week 6. So was simming his game until he won and the last time it would not let me back out in time and he lost and his best player got injured. So this is why I have to re-invite everyone

Re: Florida Gators Official Team Thread- Fear the Swamp
Gators Down Volunteers
Defense Starts it Early, Gators Never Look Back By Zack Pearson SportsGamer Daily It took only 1 play for the Gators to jump out to a lead and never look back. Monroe intercepted a pass on the first play of the game and took it the distance for the 6-0 lead. On a botched snap for the extra point, the gators couldnt recover so had to settle for 6. The Gators D help up on 2 straight drives giving the offense a chance to open the game up. Tebow drove down in the RedZone but threw an interception on 3rd down in both drives. Tebow redeemed himself by throwing a 35 yard Touchdown strike to Harvin, which was then followed by a Wright INT, and then another Monroe INT for a TD with :50 left in the half to give the gators a 28-7 lead following a 2-point conversion. Tebow and Harvin connected again, this time on a 79 yard TD pass with 5:35 left in the 3rd, and the Gators cruised to another victory. " Its a simple equation, He throws it up and I go get it" joked Percy Harvin, "No really he throws the ball well and on target to me, and I do my thing, well together... its a beautiful thing" __________________ 2008-2009 UNC Tar Heels..... Re: Florida Gators Official Team Thread- Fear the Swamp
Gator's Stomp All Over Ole Miss
Florida Just too much for Ole Miss, Win 43-13 Zack Pearson SportsGamer Daily Florida's quest for a National Championship just got a little more convincing yesterday. The Gators steam rolled over Ole Miss, putting up 43 points and making it look easy. The Gators started the scoring with a early saftey, and then on the ensuing punt for the saftey, Percy Harvin showed off his speed, dashing 60 yards for the Touchdown. The Defense forcesd a 3 and out, and Harvin once again returned a punt 65 yards to make it 16-0. The Gators capped off the first quarter scroing with a Field Goal. The scoring came easy in the second quarter as well, Tebow connected with Harvin on a 11 yard Touchdown strike, and then connected with Harvin on a 80 yard pass to the house to make it 40-0. The Gators however failed to score in the Third, and added a Field Goal in the 4th to set the score 43-13. This win shows how dangerous the offense can be with all cylinders clicking. They have put up 91, and 43 points this year which is really, really scary. The lone dark spot was Tebow's 2 INT's but he equaled that in Touchdown passes. " I dont know what I'm doing wrong, Defenders are making good reads on me, and thats something I have to live with, I need to adjust picking up receivers down field and not make mistakes. If i keep throwing INT's its going to make our defence really tired" said Tebow after the game. Coach Myers commented on that as well "We got to work on his mechanics, we arent going to survive in the SEC with INT's, thats something we will certainly adress". Well if they are going to adress that situation, they better do it quick, they have a date with #11 LSU, and #1 Georgia comming up. STATS Passing Tebow: 10-19, 197 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT Rushing Moody: 7-35 Tebow: 7-29, TD Receiving Harvin: 5-149, 2 TD __________________ 2008-2009 UNC Tar Heels..... They're Back!

Re: Florida Gators Official Team Thread- Fear the Swamp
Gators Come Out On Top in Historic Game
Florida defeats #1 Georgia to keep their National Title hopes alive By Zack Pearson SportsGamer Daily Jacksonvile--Florida knew they had to win vs #1 Georgia or they could kiss a BCS Bowl goodbye. So why wasnt that the motivation they used for the game? "I had something better; I put in the tape of last years game where Georgia defeated us, I kept rewinding Georgias "Team Endzone Celebration" over and over and over again" said Coach Urban Myers. " Yea it made me raise my game to a whole new level, I wanted to beat these guys and show that we are the best in the country" commented Tim Tebow who had a pretty good day throwing the ball going 8-9 133 yards and a touchdown. Wide Reciever Percey Harvin had most of the receiving yards on the day with 2 catches for 71 yards and a big Touchdown in the 3rd Quarter. Tebow dropped back and seen 1-1 coverage for Harvin and when the defender slipped, Tebow launched a bomb for the touchdown. It was 24-16 with :11 seconds left when Georgia marched into the endzone and attempted the 2-pt conversion to tie the game. "I knew they werent going to run, we stopped Moreno all day, I felt like playaction so i quickly alerted the guys" said Spikes. As the Georgia TE caught it, he was immedietly hit preventing him from tying the game. " Man this feels good! I wanted this matchup since last year, I wanted Georgia, and today we showed we are an elite team"-Tim Tebow. __________________ 2008-2009 UNC Tar Heels..... They're Back!
