Re: Would anyone be interested in reading a FF breakdown of a few positions by me?
Top 40 RB Rankings(top 15 have explanations):
1) LT - This isn't even up for debate after what he accomplished last year. 2) Steven Jackson - He was incredible last year and should only improve. He is an incredible reciever and runner. There is a very real possibility that he can break the record for most yds from scrimmage this season. 3) Frank Gore - If you can average 5.4 ypc even though the passing game suffers, I can't wait to see how he'll do this year once Alex Smith and VD tear up that weak passing(defense) schedule this year. 4) LJ - He would be the solid #3, but he is possibly a holdout, if he does holdout, I would drop him a ton. 5) Joseph Addai - This kid is the perfect fit for Indy's offense, and with so many weapons in the passing game, Addai is incredible at running draws and should be able to rip off a few big ones now that Glenn has left an opening at LT, there should be a little more emphasis on running the ball. 6) SA - We cannot ignore what he has done in the past. He should be great if he can stay healthy the whole season. 7) Brian Westbrook - He has tons of ability, but the EAgles offensive playcalling limits his fantasy value. 8) Laurence Maroney - Expect a LOT of running this year from the Patriots, they should be able to get on top quick and then clock manage. 9) Willie Parker - Would be higher if he fit Pitt's offensive style better, and will likely lose the goalline carries. 10) Reggie Bush - The second half of the season he began to show what he can do. A full season of that and he will be worth more than this pick, especially now that most people have probably dropped him claiming he is "overrated". 11) Travis Henry - PERFECT fit for Denver. If he does well in pre-season, I fully expect Henry to get about 80% of the carries. That Bronco blocking plus a runner with Henry's ability = a HUGE season. 12) Maurice Jones-Drew - MJD was a giant surprise last year, and this year many are doubting that he can repeat(mainly because of a small market, not enough support). The only thing that could push MJD higher is if Fred Taylor goes down to injury during the season. Jax has a very easy rush D schedule, and with a weak passing attack, they shoudl run a LOT. 13) Rudi Johnson - He is wearing down. Don't be fooled into picking him up and then being incredibly dissapointed this season. He averaged a personal worst 3.8 YPC last year. 14) Cedric Benson - He will be the sole rusher for the Bears, and I am expecting big things from him, especially since grossman will be providing him with tons of carries and the need to keep that D fresh. 15) Deuce McAllister - Suffers slightly due to Reggie being much more involved in the passing attack than he is, but will still get plenty of touches and fantasy points. 16) Ronnie Brown 17) Edgerrin James 18) Clinton Portis 19) Thomas Jones 20) Adrian Peterson(MIN) 21) Chester Taylor 22) Brandon Jacobs 23) Cadillac Williams 24) Ahman Green 25) Jamal Lewis 26) Ladell Betts 27) Marion Barber 28) Fred Taylor 29) Jerious Norwood 30) Ahman Green 31) Julius Jones 32) DeAngelo Williams 33) Warrick Dunn 34) DeShaun Foster 35) Kevin Jones 36) LenDale White 37) Mike Bell 38) Brandon Jackson 39) Reuben Droughns 40) Dominic Rhodes __________________ When I do what I do, I do it. |

I would switch Deuce and Bush. In point per recepions leagues, Bush is worthy of a #10 ranking, but in standard leagues he isnt.
