SportsGamer presents the Fifa 07 Best of 5 Series between Fred and Pastapadre.

While Fred and I have had our many battles in Madden, we've never gone to the lengths we have here for Fifa. On Tuesday November 28th the first game of the series will be played. Over the course of the week, the remaining games will take place. No more than one game will be played on any given day.

Padre will be representing the USA

while Fred will be running with his native Mexico

Things to look for shortly:

Vbookie: A variety of different options will be put up and available for the members to place their bets on. Odds will be adjusted based on the wagering coming in, as well as after each game to reflect the current situation. That means if you bet on Fred to win the series before it begins, you would get better odds at that point than betting on him to win the series if he was up 1-0 already. Blogs: Fred and I will be blogging throughout the series. I expect these to be at least mildly entertaining to read

Game recaps: Will be posted following each game

We hope that this will be an interesting thing for everyone to follow. Don't be afraid to support myself or Fred strongly. I know this will especially be the case if points are riding on the outcome.

I'll be updating this thread when the vbookie is added, and when a blog or game recap is posted. So make sure to check back often and let us know your thoughts!

I think your fooked pasta. Fred has an unfair advantage when it comes to football (soccer for all us Yanks). If I was a TV sports caster I would be fired for this comment!

While common sense would tell you bet everything on the Mexican, I'm putting my money on Pasta. Pasta's light in the loafers and that's 50% of success in soccer. Furthermore, I hear there's an American strategy involving chorizo which will severely hurt the Mexicans' chances.
