I have only played FIFA, not Winning Eleven, but I have heard really great things about Winning Eleven. I really enjoy FIFA though. Have any of you guys played both? Let me know.

Winning Eleven (or Pro-Evolution Soccer in this country) is better - far more realistic and flowing gameplay.

If your just the average soccer fan, just want to play a game every now and then probably stick with Fifa. Pro Evo is more for the hardcore fan as you do a lot more management and the gameplay, like stated before is a lot more realistic and harder.

I actually played soccer in college, so I really am big into soccer. With that said, what kind of things can I do in regards to management when playing online against other people. I mostly like playing competitively against other people.

Winning Eleven would be the best game but the fact that they only have a limited amount of licensed teams keeps it behind FIFA. Even more so now that Fifa has stepped up the gameplay aspects and will continue to improve it every year.

Right now I say winning eleven.

But I see that changing in the next couple of years. I don´t see WE improving.

In fact, I played Fifa until 2003 (or 2004, I think) , when I was introduced PES 3, soon after came PES 4. And the difference was huge. PES 5 wassome sort of disappointment, and now I´ve tried Fifa 07, and enjoyed it a lot. I played 2 matches in PES 6 and the first look did not please me a lot.
It´s like the guys have said here, PES (Pro Evolution Soccer, same as Winning Eleven - marketing reasons) is more realistic, but Fifa seems to be "funnier" to play, and it´s surely getting way better than earlier versions

i think pes6 is a crap, but fifa is worse crap... pes5 rulez!

Fifa 07 for the 360.. is a REAL step up from past versions.. it took the winning eleven approach and enhanced the graphical features in the game..

The ball movement is far better.. and it's really hard to get to the net for a clear shot. On world class at least.

is winning eleven even out yet in NA?

I would pass for soccer games this year, fifa 08 will be very good once they add all the teams
