Some about playing FIFA

1.) There is an option called 'man marking'. Does anyone have any tips on how to better position the my players so that they mark the right players on the other team? I was thinking that maybe I should get 2 guys to mark Ronaldinho since he is fast, would that work better than just one guy up against him?

2.) when is the best time to use the chip shot? Because it seems that the power shots and finess shot are the one that score goals. So what use does the chip shot have?

3.) Any tips on playing with Cameroon? I know they are not the best team on the game but I am sure they have a few good points about them that could be useful in winning a few matches.

4.) Any tips on playing against Italy?? Like the best formation and which players I should be most aware of? A friend of mine likes to use italy and he always beats me.

5.) How do I know which players on my team have the best defense? That would go along way in helping me pick which player marks which player on the other team.

Thanks in advance guys

As far as 1, 3, and 4 go I can't really help ya. But personally I find that the chip shot is only effective on a fast break. But the shot has to be taken at an angle. What I mean is that you must be coming from either the left or right corner of the box and aim for the opposite corner from whatever side you're attacking from. For example, if you're attacking from the right corner you want to aim the shot towards the part of the net on your left. This gives the chip enough time to comeback down for a goal. Also, make sure the keeper has started his run towards you, but don't wait to long or he'll have a good chance of blocking the shot.

As far as seeing who is the best at defense you can simply look at the player ratings when you're setting up you squad. And if you want to see all of the ratings that a player has simply click the right stick when their name is highlighted, then hit RT until it takes you to the player's attributes. Then use RB or LB to cycle thru the different categories of attributes.

1)How do you man mark?

2)How do you double team?

3)i played my first online game.... I was Italy and the other kid was England.... i lost 4-0 .... the annoying thing was that he could somehow pass from his backs to his strikers in practically one pass and his strikers were always on ..... how do i stop this?

Players like Ronaldhino have good dribbling, a defender can stop them with a slide tackle, you have to be aggresive and pressure. If he is pressured, he will either pass(which can be intercepted) or lose the ball from a challenge. One game I played against barca earlier in my manager mode with Milan, I put Maldini covering Ronaldhino(Maldini should have better stats). He stopped him plenty of times.

#2 When the goalie is out of position, or charging..?

#3 pick the Azzurri :D

#4 You cant :o FORZA ITALIANO, FORZA ROSSONERI

#5 It shows the stats of matchups on the team management screen while ingame, stats highlighted green are the top.

1.) I dont really know how to man mark, nor do i care because i dont really need it just dont run your players out of position

2.) when playing people online, they charge with their goalies a lot when your on a break away so use the chipshot if you think hes gunna pull him out. And vs the computer the chip shot almost always scores when your coming in at a tight angle (like 20 degree angle from the post).

3.) Players ratings dont matter this much in the game if you understand how to play soccer, you just need to make the right passes, make space and take the shot when your chance is there

4.) Exactly what Jusso said, You cant!! Italia owns and will always own

5.) you just click on their bio ( which is clicking the right stick on xbox 360) not sure about other systems though and you just go to their stats, then check out their defensive attributes.
