LOL, they would never offer that. If they were to offer Robinho in the deal, it would be Robinho plus about $70 million. If Manchester United don't want Robinho in the deal (which would be EXTREMELY stupid), they would probably get around $112 million. I don't see them selling him though. He is still under contract and he's currently at the top of his game. Also, it helps that Manchester United have a stubborn-ass American owner who said he'd make Ronaldo play with the reserves before he'd sell him. Americans FTW!

Someone suggested that eto'o would be a good signing for Arsenal - although i would agree (he'd be great for any prem team) seems like hes considering an offer to play in Uzbekestan (presumably for the huge wages theyre willing to pay - and its only for 6 months)

That was me.
The only reason he's considering Uzbekistan is B/C They'renthe only ones willing to offer Barca the money they want. Barca value him at 30 million euros, which is why you won't see much Premier League interest for him. Unless he goes is a player+cash deal, I see it very hard for him to make the money he wants and still play in a top league. I think the most likely scenerio is Barca will have to loan him out with an option to buy B/C nobody will pay the big money for him. We'll see what happens though. It should be interesting.

Yeah, thats an interesting point. I couldnt really see any prem club paying more than £20 million for him - chelsea are the only ones with that kind of cash (but they seem more interested in robinho). Having said that, i still think hes got a few years left in the top leagues - last year he scored 16 times in only 18 games. Who knows, barca may lower the price to try get rid of him, like they did with ronaldinho and deco.
Wouldnt mind seeing him at my club - but if we can hold onto ronaldo instead, i'd be happier :D
