Just wondering who's getting the game tomorrow or anytime soon. Maybe we can get some more tournaments going or something like that

i think i'll trade in Saints Row and NBA 2K7 to get this game cause i dont' play those much anymore

Why ? EA cant make soccer games and the FIFA series is pretty poor. Konami's version is infinitely better.

This isnt a sales pitch but guys you should look at Pro Evo Soccer or actually I think its called Winning Eleven. in the States. ThE latest version came out last week and outside North America previous editions have outsold FIFA.

Then again it depends what you want. If you want an arcade type game then buy FIFA. If you are a genuine soccer fan then it had to be Winning Eleven.

Perhaps some of the other Brits or Europeans can back me up on this.

is winning eleven out in North America yet? i will probably rent them and probably buy winning eleven because the fact that fifa does not have celtic but yet they have some mexican teams instead of one of the most popular clubs in the world

Actually Jag I am not sure if the North American version is out. The European version was out last week.

Over at gamefaqs.com a lot of PES fans are saying this is the best soccer game ever. Take that as you will, but I'm most definitely buying it tomorrow (if I can get enough $$$ so I can also buy COD3 next week...). I had a blast with the demo, and the World Cup game was awesome (07 demo was even better though). Can't turn down the opportunity to finally play as Arsenal on the 360.

i think i'm one of those fans we are always saying EA appeals to in madden. I dont know the rules of soccer and don't really know the players, but I want to have fun and play the game. We always complain about those guys in Madden lol.

Sorry - I didnt really mean to be all negative. Obviously its a matter of choice and opinion. And in the past I have preferred the Konami games to those soccer games made by EA.

Saying that I have heard that EA have totally changed the game engine (is that what its called ?) for this new release so I would definitely be interested in reading people's opinions of it.
