Flyers representing their countries in Torino.

Simon Gagne - Canada
Robert Esche - USA
Derien Hatcher - USA
Mike Knuble - USA
Michal Handzus - Slovakia
Branko Radivojevic - Slovakia (RES)
Dennis Seidenberg - Germany
Sami Kapanen - Finland
Joni Pitkanen - Finland
Peter Forsberg - Sweden
Jim Johnsson - Sweden

Not a bad list, it just shows what each of these guys can bring to the ice and how they are picked to represent their home country. I do not see why Niittymaki did not make the Finnish roster.

Jim Johnson?

Think only Colorado got more players in the Olympics (of the NHL teams at least). Russia haven't announced their roster yet though.

With the way Kim has played this year, he deserves to have his name mis-spelled.

I was in a rush, shh.

There are no Russian-born Flyers.

Detroit has 10 right now, should be 11 when Russia announces it's roster (Datsyuk).

Nicklas Lidstrom - Sweden
Niklas Kronwall - Sweden
Mikael Samuelsson - Sweden
Henrik Zetterberg - Sweden
Stefan Liv - Sweden
Michael Hackert - Germany
Chris Chelios - USA
Mathieu Schnedier - USA
Kris Draper - Canada
Robert Lang - Czech Republic

Shanny and Homer each got snubbed for their respective countries as well, but I guess it's balanced since Chelios and Draper really don't deserve to go. Oh well, considering that Yzerman turned down his invitation, and Fischer probably would have gone if he was healthy, it's nice to know we had at least 15 strong candidates on the team.. But 11 of 15 works for me. :D

EDIT: Russia announces it's roster.. Datsyuk's there, so is ex-Wing Dmitry Bykov, we still have his rights but he'll probably never come back to NA so I'll just count him as half.. 11.5 Wings at the Olympics .

You can probably add Niittymaki now that Kiprusoff is out.
