On the same day that Nintendo does their Nintendo Direct Sony also put up a PlayStation State of Play announcement video which showed off a few minutes of game announcements. Ignoring some previously revealed games like of course Final Fantasy VII Rebirth because the trailers for it are as ever a disappointing and also we know how amazing Marvel's Spider Man 2 going to be there were some reveals worth talking about.
Roblox is coming to the PlayStation 4 on 10th October 2023 supporting cross play which PlayStation 4 & 5 players alongside Xbox and PC players will be able to share their creations together.
A new Ghostbusters game is coming out in the form of a VR game which will be great for PlayStation VR 2 owners. Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghost Lord is set to come out on 26th October.
Resident Evil 4 Remake was missing the Separate Ways from the original game, now confirmed for this winter Resident Evil 4 Remake is finally getting the Separate Ways campaign. While Assignment Ada may still be missing in action but at least we got the Separate Ways storyline which is what Resident Evil fans have waited for.
One of the best J-RPGs of 2021 Tales of Arise is getting an all new DLC chapter taking place a year after the events of the main game. Tales of Arise Beyond Dawn will be released on 9th November.
So, it was a really good State of Play announcement video especially hearing about the announcement of Separate Ways for Resident Evil 4 Remake and of course the new chapter for Tales of Arise gives me enough reasons to go back to that game again for a new run. No other game announcements caught my interest to talk about.
