Hell divers 2 question

I have never played hell divers before and I usually try and stay away from games as a service but this looks kinda cool. Is this game similar to left for dead or world war z where you fight huge swarms of enemies with other players and get loot, or is it more like The Division or is it kind of a mix of all three??

It is more like Killing Floor and Vermintide where you drop into a zone and battle wave of enemies. I haven't played it myself but that's the basic premice. Also there is a mastermind at the controls triggering monster invasions for different planets. You battle to take control of planets.

Think of it like starship troopers the video game but it's the hell divers backstory. It's actually quite good if you're on the fence about it remember it's only $39.99 has millions of players and people are enjoying it. It isn't greedy like other games and you can earn all the cosmetics with in game currency.
