Rate your excitement for E3 2021

I’m always really hyped for E3, it’s like gaming Christmas for me. I’m looking forward to a lot of great stuff to be shown off this year. My hype level is a solid 9.

I voted 7 I'm hoping MS have a better show than last year.

1 this is the first E3 where I have zero hype for gaming thinking of calling of it quits sooner then later just not fun to me anymore meh who cares.

I'm keeping my expectations in check, especially because of the pandemic throwing a big spanner in the works.

My excitement level is probably a 7/10 atm.

A five for me. I expect equal surprise and disappointment.

Larians Baldur's Gate III release date would be hype, probably won't happen 'disappointment'.

Capcom will show a cool game or two as they have the past five years. Fingers crossed for Dragon's Dogma 2.

Microsoft hopefully has slapped Bethesda enough to make a Bethesda Studio game relevant again. Though this could also lean on the disappointment angle for me if Bethesda still gonna Bethesda. I doubt we'll see anything from id Software in 2021 of any real relevance. Really Microsoft has a lot of studios now so my eyes will be paying attention to what games they have to show.

Nintendo will show a few games I would imagine. Whether it be games I can get behind or not will depend, am excited for Splatoon 3 considering Splat2 is among the best Switch games.

Then just the surprise games from studios we do not know about I guess.

I've gotten to the point where I don't watch it anymore. I'll wait for the TL:DW version of the showcases via articles on here or elsewhere.

8. Looking forward to seeing what Nintendo has to offer as well as Square Enix. Some news on either the FFVII Remake Part 2 or DQ 12 would really make me happy.

If, say, Nintendo would show something Metroid and/or announce a new F-Zero (GX-style), my hype would skyrocket. Huge Nintendo fan, can't help it.

My hopes are not high though, so maybe a 5? Just show me stuff that caters to my taste, next game in a great franchise or good looking new IPs, and I'll get excited. Will reserve my excitement till then.

I agree regarding F-Zero if nintendo don't want to make it then just out source it to a 3rd party.

I got to the point that E3 itself isn't fun as it used to be. This is before the rise of social media and when it kickoff the bat, E3 became irrelevant! E3 is as old as the Dinosaurs and nowadays, every big gaming corp. can do their own show because of it, why keep continuing E3? That said, I still watch it but not expecting much. 5/10

It is kind of sad that I forgot Metroid Prime 4 was in development. The original is one of the greatest games ever made. Honestly what a waste of one of Nintendo's best developers; Retro Studios. They haven't developed a new game since 2014. Wonder what went so wrong with them.

Same with Bayonetta 3. Platinum Games have basically soft-cancelled that game in my view, because they take on too many other projects at once. It's not realistic for such a small studio. We'll see the follow up to Automata before Bayo3 probably.

It's mostly a waste of time, and I can't think of any probable announcement to get me hyped.

I’m a bit puzzled as to why no one has picked a 10. Nintendo could unveil skid mark soiled underwear with the Zelda logo printed on it during their presser and gamers would collectively implode by rating it a 10 and then would send death and rape threats to anyone who disagrees and rated it as a 9.

Nintendo is an interesting one still no switch pro announcement.

Yeah man, we wanted a new F-Zero for almost 2 decades.

1. Just seems E3 has lost a lot of its importance and grandeur recently.

6. Gaming doesn't excite me as much as it used to. But I will watch the show - it's kind of a tradition at this point.

I’ve only watched a few clips here and there and read a few summaries but from what I’ve gathered, the pressers and unveiling’s have been underwhelming so far, particularly Ubisoft which was abysmal.

I hope for the sake of those who have high expectations that E3 gets much better.

I voted a solid 8. I'm pretty excited and was excited last year during the new console release news. I wish Sony was there but I was happy with what I did see. The Final fantasy games have me pretty excited, I like that those were shown. The Ubisoft games I enjoyed seeing, their conference was fun to see. When I saw the Guardians of the Galaxy game today I was totally surprised, I mean that was so cool to see, the Wakanda Avengers game expansion was nice to see as well.

What I thought was really cool was the Riders republic game and the other snowboarding game, they're putting out some really good looking games this year and next.

I’m not very excited. But I’m looking forwards to some good news tidbits. But I don’t expect many news about games I’m waiting for.

I really liked the Microsoft conference but was disappointed with the Square-Enix showing. Next looking forward to Capcom, Bandai-Namco, and Nintendo.
