What is that one game in your backlog that you say you will get to eventually?

Right now that game for me is Tokyo Mirage Sessions lol. I had it on Wii U, then when I got rid of the Wii U, got the Switch version. Have had it all these years and I keep telling myself I’ll get to it eventually. I still believe it lol. How about you, GD? What’s that one game in your backlog that you say you’ll get to eventually?

A lot. But some of the oldest things in my backlog are Deus Ex and Freespace 2. Never got around to them back in the day, always ment to. These were some of the first things I ever bought on GOG, and they have been sitting waiting for me to make good on that purchase.

Bayonetta 2. I've just been busy for the last few years, so I procrastinated.

Legend of Dragoon, I played through the first disc as a kid and loved it, then never got around to completing it. I started to replay it on ps3 a few years ago but same thing. Now it’s on PSPlus so I feel like I should try to get through the whole game this time. The constant battles get tiresome though.

BOTW, but I have like 4 games in front of it.

After I finished that one, I can jump on TOTK

I might eventually get to Resident Evil 4 Remake. Just to see what's new in it.

Yeah... I have a lot of those. I went on a buying spree a while ago.

I abandoned most of the games I had plans to play, cause the reason I haven't played them and other games intead of them is most likely because I don't want to play them.

I'm gonna try to play Hi-Fi Rush and Returnal when I'm done with Tears of the Kingdom at least.
So yeah. Maybe I'll play those two games 500 hours of TotK later or something.

I don't like to blaspheme, but Elden Ring on my Xbox SX has only been played once, and that was over 12 months ago!!

For years it was Earthbound but I played it after I got a pristine 31Khz CRT for retro gaming and a MiSTer finally.

Cyberpunk brought it a while back on ps5 but never got around to it.

Deus Ex Human Revolution. Sometimes I make a start, then my goldfish like brain gets distracted by another shiny thing and i set it aside. I do like it when i'm playing it though. Seems like a good game.

X4 rebirth. Technically i have about 20 hours in the game but that's barely scratching the surface. The game just keeps getting patches and expansions that, everytime i make a start, another big update is due and i think "well may as well just wait for that before playing again". Great game though. Janky, buggy and quite a steep learning curve but also very engrossing and one hell of a simulation.

I want to get to Disco Elysium eventually but my first couple hours with it didn't really inspire me. I keep thinking there is something GameSpot saw in this and I kind of agree with them seeing an old wordy, like similar open ended game I was addicted to was Avernum.

My first impression of it really put me off though and I'm not sure if pushing through to whatever the bulk of the game is will be worth it.

Ghost of Tsushima, want to finish, but the world is so damn boring.
