The Manitoba Moose are playing on television tonight.

The game--featuring a good number of Canucks prospects, obviously ;)--starts at 7:30 p.m. CT (5:30 p.m. PT) on Rogers Sportsnet, with Jim Hughson and John Garrett calling the game.

Oh, and the Moose are sort of playing their first game at their new arena, the MTS Centre. The game is sold out, so I guess it's sort of a big deal.

Hope you guys tune in. The Moose are 10-4-0-2 this season, and gone 6-0-0-2 in their last eight games, so this certainly isn't like last year's team. :D

Oh, I'm interested!

But damn evening classes from 7-10 tonight! Imperfectly timed for me to miss basically the whole game!

I can't skip it either.

I watched good hockey fix not a bad game to watch either. Nice new arena too I must add, kinda too nice for an AHL team are they trying to attract an NHL team to it?
Was a pretty good game I thought Flahrety was really solid in net despite being scored on twice he had a shutout effort. Good to see Koltsov(who I've been wanting to see play for awhile now) he's kinda scary sometimes jumping up too far but got great skills.

Auld suffered a concussion last Thursday against the Cleveland Barons (San Jose's AHL affiliate), so because of that, he had to sit out at least a week. The earliest he'd be able to draw back into the lineup is tomorrow.

Hey I actually got to see the game! My class got out early.

I got back in time to see all 4 Moose goals and... unfortunatley the two goals that beat Flarhety ... but, to their credit, they were good/lucky goals

But good to see the Moose winning for a change! :D

We'll be fine. Unlike last season, we have an actual head coach, solid goaltending, and more than one line that can score.
