Moose post-season comes to an end!!!

http://www.moosehockey.com/

headlines their. From what I watched the moose played badly from the start of this round with chicago. The only guy who had any heart on the team was carlyle. The rest of the players semed to not care at all about winning.

Moose dreams dashed

To be honest, I don't think it was a lack of heart that did in the Moose. They just met a Chicago team that has a very deep lineup. The Wolves are always tough to play against (as evidenced by Manitoba's 2-14 overall record against them in the playoffs), and this season was no exception. The way the Wolves played made Manitoba suffer from "Justin Morrison syndrome" (playing too much along the perimeter). Not to mention doing too much passing and not enough shooting on the power play...a power play that went 0-for-24 in the series. Chicago scouted the Moose well, and Manitoba had no answers for what the Wolves displayed.

Congrats to the Moose for an outstanding season (one of the best in team history), and good luck to the Wolves in the Calder Cup Final. I hope they continue the I-6 domination of the AHL finals. :D

It was a good run! The Moose were good this year, for a change! :D That's great! Hopefully it's only the beginning!
