as i said in another forum I'd like to see Brule, Bobby Ryan (even though they'll probably go earlier) and Guillaume Latendresse (I know he's higher in ranks but maybe we we could catch him in a different round
as for Price, I'd like to get a well potential goalie but I'd prefer someone that could help us quicker, Goalies take longer to get to play at NHL level. __________________

I really don't see us taking Price as we took Scheider in the first round last year.

I say we try and get Gilbert Brule, Bobby Ryan if they are still available which they most likely won't be. If those 2 are gone like they are most likely to be, we should try and get Jack Skille. At 6'1" and 200lbs, he adds size to our team and we need a LW also. Or we can try and get Ryan O'Marra. |

Brule won't drop to #9. Nor will Ryan.
Jack Skille is a guy that I want the Canucks to pick. He's an explosive winger with skill, speed and size. I hope the Sens do indeed choose Price so Skille drops to the #10 spot. Other guys that the 'Nucks could grab are: Bourret (very tough and skilled centre) O'Marra (centre, has all the intangibles, good leader, the "safe pick") Hanzal (big Czech forward, has potential) Zagrapan (smooth skating centre with hands, grit is an issue) Staal (Eric's brother, reliable all-around defenceman) Bourdon (defenceman, has the size and skill but has iffy decision making skills) I hope they go with a forward with high potential though.. I'm sick of seeing these safe picks. |

Don't look at stats to determine how good a player is though.. Drafting like that could get you in a lot of trouble. |
