Boo ya finally won a preseason game.

I'd have to agree. When I went to the games on Friday and Saturday there was no one i noticed more then Bourdon. He was probably their best player. I think the kid is going to be outstanding. With the Canucks having a few defence spots up for grabs on their roster I would support him getting a chance in the regular season.

Give him the 10-game tryout and then sign him if he's earned a 4th or 5th spot. If he's our 6th dman I'd rather send him back to juniors to develop another year and have that extra year before UFA.

exactly.. .I'd MUCH rather he spend the year in the Q getting 30+ minutes a game, as opposed to only getting 10-12 here..

that just wouldn't be good for his future... if he goes back, he will completely dominate the Juniors, which will end up really helping his confidence, and he'll be back next year a hell of a lot better than he is right now

I like the 10 game tryout option... i can't see how that would hurt... let's see how he does in the regular season

then if he does, we still have 40 games before he loses a year of RFA eligibility, and by then we might be able to swing a deal that'll bring a legitimate 4-5 D-Man in... and then send Bourdon back to juniors, unless he completely tears it up I guess
