I didn't know exactly where to put this. I called Express Vu the other day b/c your 'package' is automatically added in each year unless you say 'no'. (Sneaky, eh??) I asked them what their plans were in case of a strike and they said they really didn't have a decision made yet. Maybe they're hoping it won't happen. Hope again.

we cancelled our NHL Center Ice... why pay for it, if there's no hockey?

once a new CBA is agreed upon, we can re-order it, and have it working in like 5 mins. so why pay for it before games are played?

I'm going to leave it on for now, because of the renewer's discount. I'm sure DirecTV won't be hosers if there's a lockout. But if they are, they will feel the wrath. ;)

my dad's the man in charge of the DirecTV... so i'm just relaying what he said he was doing :)

either way, as long as i've got sports on TV (NHL Center Ice AND NFL Sunday Ticket), i'm happy living at home until i graduate :D

We are waiting to see if a deal gets signed before we even go out and get DirecTV in the first place. If a deal is done, then we are going to get it for Centre Ice and hopefully Sunday Ticket.

If they did charge you before the season and the season doesn't start on time or at all then I'm sure your provider would roll it over to next season or credit it to some other part of your bill.

I think the Center Ice package is tied for the best sports pack out there. Sunday ticket picks up every Sunday day game and the rest are television nationally. The thing that's so good about Center Ice is that it picks up games that are broadcasted on local stations. When you watch MLB Extra Innings it only picks up games done by fox sports which kinda sucks because you miss out on games done by a teams local channel.
