Did Janne quit?
I've heard that Niinimaa has quit the Finnish side due to personal differences with the coach
If so, this is a big blow to the Fins! __________________

That's true that Niinimaa has left the team because of a personal differences with Raimo Summanen, the headcoach of Finland. And I don't believe that Niinimaas case hurt the team Finland at all. Joni Pitkänen from reserves takes a place and he's a great player though.
Personal differences with coach could be big blow, if there's some other cases waiting. Let's see - Finns have played a great hockey at WCH and I believe that Niinimaas case can't hurt that. |

in the game vs. Germany it looked like Janne was hurt. after an incident in 1st period he stretched his right leg all the time and received some treatment from the doc on the bench. he missed some shifts in the 1st, but then played on.
