Sweden vs Chzech Republic
Yes siiiiir!
Discuss here please! Im thinking the team with best morale wins this one. I also think we will have a similar game as the game yesterday. Lets see if the Swedes are tired like the finns were, although the Swedes have gotten one day more rest. The Chzechs seem to have woken up after what they did against the germans, can they threat the Swedes? Hm, im thinking: 5-3 in favore of Jagr & Co, |

I don't like the Czech defense too much; outside of Zidlicky and Spacek, they've been spotty and downright horrendous at times. Vokoun will have another strong game that won't mean much as the Czech team fails to play sound defense. The forwards, however, have gotten much better.
Sweden will dominate in the neutral zone, which will be key in this game. I expect Modin to have another fantastic game, as well as (the quiet, but extremely effective) Kim Johnsson too. 4-2 Sweden. |

1- Nazzy - Cuz of Bertuzzi? Ive heard and read that the accident with Bert and Moore shook Nazzy up badly. 2- Forsberg - Cuz of the surgeries and the pressure on him? Q as in question, will these 2 finally show up today? Its gonna be very intresting. Yes, i agree to the fullest Raven, Modin has been rocksolid. And yes Kimmie is very good, but he has been a little clumsy with the puck. And that can be dangerous against a fastpaced team as their forthcoming opponents in todays game. 1 hour and 34 minutes to faceoff.... |

Jagr needs to be more dominant, as does Elias, Havlat, Straka and Sykora. So far, I think Vyborny has been the only forward who has done what he's supposed to do and then some. For the most part, they've been pretty average, save for the game against Germany. |

I think the Czechs could win, but Vokoun would need to be outstanding, and they'd need to get to the Swedish goalie early. I think it'll be a fairly high scoring game, with maybe up to 7 goals being scored.
btw, go Modin and Prospal! :D |

I think with the coach having made some changes to the line formations maybe that'll get Forsberg moving (he'll now play with Jörgen Jönsson). If Sweden are to win Tellqvist needs to step it up. While we have a slightly stronger team, Vokoun is very solid, and Tellqvist needs to be at least almost as good. I think he'll do that though. He has won championships before and he has an ability to play his best when it's needed. I say Sweden win by 5-4.
