I buy the cheap 12 dollar Canadian Tire hockey sticks.

They don't last too long.

I got a Bauer Supreme I use for road hockey that has lasted me a good 5 years still, although the blade is getting thin.

I used Sher-wood Coffey curve sicks forever. Then I finally went to the composites. I mean the wood sticks are cheaper per stick, but when you take a slap shot like me and break the sticks every 3 or so games it starts to add up I had various Easton sticks with the wooden Coffey curve still.

I went to Perani's (best store ever! ) and wanted to check out some one-piece sticks. I was hoping for an Yzerman easton stick, but I sadly found out they dicontinued that curve. It was the only one I could use aside from Coffey. That is until I grabbed a Thornton curve CCM Vector. I bought a pair of them on sale and haven't looked back. It took a couple games to get used to at first, but they are some nice sticks. Definitely felt a boot in my shot after I got used to it.

Did you specify that? No. There's no need for you to jump on someone.

And this also should be in the Hockey Equipment forum.

But to stay on-topic, I have some piece of crap Bauer Supreme woody for road hockey, and an Easton Cyclone for ice hockey. It's too small now, I believe. I haven't played organized ice hockey in two years. I'm getting back into this winter with my cousin's boyfriend, just recreational though so I'll need a new stick.

Didn't you already start a thread in here that was moved into the equipment forum?

Don't you LEARN from your mistakes?
