Looking for a stick

I play shinny quite often in the winter (indoor and outdoor) and I'm looking for a stick to use. I guess I'm willing to pay up to 75$. I don't need a flashy one piece and I don't mind using a wooden stick. I don't want it to weigh a ton either, something light is always easier to work with. Also, I wouldn't mind a nice curve :)

Anyways, I'm just seeing what you guys will suggest before I go out hunting , thanks.

I don't know if Montreal has a place like this, but in Edmonton there is a store that sells used Oilers gear, and you can get game-used sticks cheap. I got a Synergy for $60 bucks, bought a wooden blade with the curve I wanted, cut the old one off, and attatched the new one.

Cheap synergy, with a nice curve. Easiest way right there.

It's called Totem Outdoor Outfitters, it's over on 99 st NW. They sell a whole bunch of like outdoor stuff, and then when you go throught the store, they have their hockey/lacross/golf/boarding sections. Great store, I go every time. It's got a big yellow sign out front.

Totem Outdoor Outfitters Ltd
7430 99 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E3R9
(780) 432-1223
(780) 432-0070

That be the address I found on superpages.ca.

Sherwoods are great.

You can also go with one of the cheap easton two-pieces and get a blade to go with it for about 75 I would think too.

just go to your shop and look for the cheapest woodys. I picked up a Sedin Jofa the other day for about $20. gotta wait until they freeze over the outdoor rink to try it on ice, but it's been great the res halls so far :).
