Hockey Skates....Good or bad?
Hey guys,
I dunno if this should be in another forum so i appoligze if so, anyways Im thinking about getting these roller blades for outdoor hockey (just pick up games) for under $20.00, does anyone know what kinda skates are these and if their a good buy or not. ULTRA WHEELS INLINE HOCKEY SKATES? |

Yup, Ultra Wheels brand. They were amongst the first to strike with inline skates on the large scale. I believe they had Gretzky as a sponsor for at least some period of time. They were never much into the hockey scene from what I remember, moreso just the typical casual type skate.
I had a pair, they were decent. They couldn't hold a candle to my CCMs, but they were good enough to play around on, beat the crap out of, ect. |

okay man
I told you already. These things look like they retailed at about 40 bucks, maybe up to 60, and that is 5-10 years ago. They are still in playable shape andd for anything less than 15 I'd probably get them. With S & H they're gonna suck though. ![]() |

Don't waste your money - they're pretty uncomfortable and the heel is soft.
