So getting my skates sharpened at Al Anderson's Source for Sports Thursday night, i start to look around as I always do, and spot a bin FULL of Mission Lite blockers with a variety of different colours. The price was marked down from $250 to $91. I managed to leave without buying one.

Needless to say I'm going there next week to pick one up! Anybody else pass up a massive markdown and regretted it?

for some reason... i'm finding a lot of mission stuff marked down - there must be some kind of reason? I recently bought some bauer gloves(player) for 89 and i thought it was a good deal because they were marked down from 120 and I was browsing while sharpening my skates and saw a pair of new mission gloves for 49 bucks - I was pissed.

so i donno, i say buy them its a great deal... but im curious as to why a lot of mission stuff is being sold at discount prices - maybe a new line coming soon?

Yeah when I bought my last stick, it was marked down from $40 to $25 and the blades were knocked down from $19.99 to $5, needless to say I was happy because instead of spending $60, I was spending $30...but I really should have gone back and picked up like 5 blades for that price.

Got some Easton Synegy gloves marked down to 60, and they are the best gloves i've ever had. :) I would usually buy something like Hespeler or Itech for 40.. so this was a welcome change.

Mission goalie gear isn't expensive for a reason. If your going to pay for your goalie equipment, get something thats worth the money...
