I'm looking for some new ones. I've always used Sher-Wood featherlites. But I may try something else (maybe Itech), what do you guys use? The only thing I really look for is that it's not insanely heavy. Thanks guys.

I just bought a Montreal 9000 Sr. Kiprusoff curve. Its hard to describe when you hold it, but it seems to balance itself very nicely along the ice. Not too light, and just heavy enough to remind you to keep your stick down.
http://www.goaliemonkey.com/montreal-gk9000sr.html Its just one of those sticks that "works" the second you hold it in your hand. Go to some goalie shops and try it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean. |

To it seems that all the Sher-Woods are pretty heavy. I always had a Heaton, Broduer, but I never buy a goalie stick over 60. I always bought sticks for 35 to 50 bucks, because anymore is way too much. I saw a really nice Bauer that was for like 130 or something, but it was extremely light and the paddle was concaved. Im guessing it makes it easier to redirect pucks to were you want.

Re: Goalie Sticks
TPS X-Lites are great sticks... They have Kevlar from the bottom tip of the blade up to the end of the paddle and are pretty light, i have 2 Hasek curve ones, and they work good for me playing the puck (I go psycho like Turco in Bantam and high school league haha, they never expect it)
Im thinkin about trying the Bauer composite or a turco RBK for a good shot, id only get the Bauer with a really good curve and nice rocker |

Re: Goalie Sticks
TPS Omega pro sticks are very good. They take a beating better than RBKs. The Lundqvist "trigger" paddle shape is also very nice.

Re: Goalie Sticks
I've gone through tons and tons of sticks. I loved TPS for a while but they changed, it's hard to describe how. I got tired of getting $50 and $60 wood sticks and having them break in a month. However, I recently picked up the RBK 6K Luongo and I love it. Best stick I've ever had, bar none. Good feel and great durability.
