The stuff is pretty awesome. They are Lundqvist spec, with the pads having a mix of xceed and summit parts, the gloves being half xceed half bionic, and the blocker is pretty much standard aside from the nash palm.

only difference in the blocker is that lundqvists is blue, he just put white leather on top of it (you can see the blue on the sides of it). thats pretty sick stuff.

He actually used this type of blocker when he first switched his gear, but something must have been wrong with it because he switched back to the blue one. The blocker he used was his original blue/red/silver with the white leather glued on.

looks great; I'm not a fan of the "flat front" cause I guess I'm just used to the "ribs" of the older type gear.

It's growing on me though and those really look nice. Hopefully he has some good luck with em!

Damn, they look nice. Have only seen the pics on goaliemonkey not from someone actually owning them. Hope he enjoys them. I'm just wearing Itech Vamp 7.8's :(

I think they're cool and all...but i never see the reason why a person would want to spend nearly DOUBLE on gear suited to ANOTHER man's specs?

Your bro could have gotten completely custom gear suited for him, in the same colours...hell even the same pads...for about 500-800 less.

Where did I say how much he spent on them? :D He spent just as much as a retail rbk premier set (his previous stuff)

lol, I just know how much they retail for...if he got them at a decent price then that's great.

Me being a goalie myself, just a pet peeve when I see some goalie's bragging about how they got Kipprusoff spec'd gloves! and then I asked them how much it cost and they tell me over $200 then what he could have gotten them custom for.

:D Hope your bro enjoys them! (and gets past the 1st round in the playoffs) :P ok that was a cheap shot.
